Threads about picking the most favorable playoff match up!?!?!? Didn't seem like we'd get there a couple of years ago

The Rockets might have won against the Grizz 3-1 but the Grizz strike me as dangerous even without Brooks.

    Pretty even.

Hard to say....Minny ain't as strong this year but not totally useless.......

Outside of OKC, it is wide open. Denver is expected to be strong again in place of Dall@ass.

GSW is a wild card this year. So are the Fakers barring injuries.

We have to make the playoffs first peeps...our schedule is not easy in April!
The Warriors, T-Wolves, and Clippers are playing their best basketball right now, plus they have guys with postseason experience...we just need to avoid the play-in at ALL COSTS!

RR, I really like your rankings. Only thing I might consider changing is Clippers and T-Wolves.

    I was considering that
Clippers gonna sneak up on someone
but I think the Wolves have that PLAYOFFs gear
and they seem more cohesive and less injury prone

I don't know why but I expect our team to hit another gear in the Playoffs
I think J Green might figure it out
AL P will be Mr Consistency

I'd probably flip Wolves and Grizzlies.

I was listening to some podcast this morning (Dunc'd On, I think), in which one of the hosts basically said the entire West wants the Clippers in the 1st round. Basically, there was no faith that a Harden-lead offense at this stage of his career would work against the defenses in the playoffs.

Gimme mavs , suns , or kings .

Anyone else and I'm scared .

Our team's superpower is playing hard .

That advantage is going to go away in the playoffs.

I think if we want out of the first round we best keep the 2 seed and try and get one of those weaker teams

Do we have the best player vs any team ?

I like sengun , fvv , green , amen etc .... But I dunno if those guys are better than the suns top guys , AD if he plays (again not worried about mavs) , and I do think weve got better players than the kings , but lavine is having a great season .

So yeah , gimme one of those 3 .

Terrified of the clippers . James harden is playing on a team that has a top 5 defense . That's a pretty good recipe . I think he looks better this year and even in last year's playoffs scored 21 per game and had 3:1 assist to TO ratio .

I'm very happy with the rockets progress this year , but think we are going to have a very tough time in the playoffs .... Ehh maybe we get hot .

We will need our shooting to be on point to make it out of any series .

Thanks for the time. You fellas raised a question that interested me:

between Ws and Harden, if TheGoodGuys took the L from which would be the greater hell?

I like the Rockets' chances against the Clippers, but like Jackson said, they are heating up right now.

My goal is to stay above the #4 seed. I want this team to get experience in a conference finals, and I don't see how we get there if we run into the Thunder before then.

    3. Suns

    7. Clippers

    10. Thunder

Clippers should be concerning for everyone in the Western Conference. Playoffs is different and SGA won't get the same whistle he gets in the regular season. No one really concerns me outside of Clippers, Grizzlies, Thunder and Nuggets. Lakers are an issue only because it'll be 5 vs 8.

It still IMO comes down to the question of KAWHI
I have more confidence in him being injured than of him dominating
