The betting line was ridiculous before the game. Referees obviously trying to Cash out with Bookies.

Not only quicker, his high vertical on jump shot. Quick trigger on his 3 point shots.

Jalen Green doesn't struggle getting to the rim at all. Jalen Green has the 2nd highest FG% in Rim Penetration on the Team. Amen Thompson is 1st.

If the lane isn't clogged Jalen Green will get to the Rim at ease.

Other than this being a historic and very dramatic comeback, it was just a typical Rockets win. They were outshot by the Sixers but absolutely clobbered them on the offensive glass 23-8. The total rebounding advantage was 58-35.

I think it's more that the league wants to help the Lakers get back up the standings.

I remember when folks thought WWE was not rigged. We are going to be labeled as naive by future generations in thinking the NBA was not rigged either.

Yup, and a confident Bari would be a game changer for this team..

What a good gameday. Warriors and Wolves lost, better buffer above play-in. Grizz lost too.

Well - first of all - a win is a win, so great job tonight!! Especially after recovering from this 25 deficit early in the 3rd..
And let’s all give huge credit for Bari and Alpi - the intentional miss and put back - this is not such an easy thing to execute properly. You can’t be sure where will the ball bounce to after the miss. But Bari shot it softly enough so either Alpi or Adams will get it, and Sengun did. I mean both the game and maybe our top-6 playoff spot were on the line, and they managed to get this put back to tie the game into overtime. I had no doubt we’ll continue to win this at overtime, as the first 2.5 quarters of the Sixers were the exception, and they couldn’t keep it any longer.
Grimes, man.. What a loss for the Mavs. He is definitely worths more than a Caleb Martin, smh.

I don't think anyone should take anything from this game except it was a W

    In terms of strategy etc

We are a #2 seed . Philly has 2 NBA players (maybe)

76ers +16.5 was money all day.... ALL DAY.

But these refs needs to be investigated. Def had some money on the game.

Need to keep in mind Amen is still hurt. We arent 100%...But we cant come out the gates like that.

Oh, and FVV needs to get his head out of his a**.

Exactly! I was saying I wanted Grimes and that’s without knowing all that much about him, but he seemed good enough, right mentality, reports were positive about him and he’s a local guy. I remember a lot of people on here said just because he played for UH, does not mean the Rockets messed up by not picking him or that he was worthy. Boy am I glad to see Grimes proved all the blind ones wrong, happy he’s not doing it in Dallas either. These are the type of draft mistakes I will hold against Tilman and particularly Stone. Cannot mess up that badly ever again.

    Here are some takeaways:
    1. I want Tari to continue to start as Jabari can get himself going against 2nd units and then finish games out since he’s great in the clutch, did you see that defense?! Back to Tari, we do not win without his energy in the 1st quarter, and his shooting. He was SINGLEHANDEDLY keeping us in the game. Without him, you are looking at a 25 deficit way earlier.

It was PATHETIC to see one guy work his ass off and the rest just going through it. I wonder if he speaks up at half-time and tells me WTF guys, I am working my ass off and y’all just watching me or something along those lines. I really wonder what is up with that when we come out with no energy and need a wake up call. That being said, Tari needs to learn to keep his cool. Giving up 2 FTs in a 6 point game that late by getting ejected when you already fouled out. Inexcusable. But I am sure Ime loves it.

    2. FVV is steady and that’s still very valuable since I already see the haters coming out of the woodwork. That late foul was not worthy of an ejection, but they wanted to make a statement. I get why he did it, but also cannot happen from a veteran, have to keep your cool. Not liking that look as he’s shown it way too often. Definitely do not care to see it come play-off time. Maybe it’s Napoleon complex as he can throw the same type of tantrums and commit hard fouls in a frustrating way like CP3 does.

    3. Green’s play was great to see, even if those shoddy handles and lazy streetball one handed passes almost cost us once again.

    4. Jabari was a monster on the offensive end and he’s shown lately he can really be aggressive and be a steady force. Defensively also very solid. We don’t win without him as evidenced by the missed FT. Sengun finally showed up to the party too.

    5. Tate was hustling and gave us a lot of 2nd opportunities. He was a team high +30!

    6. Jock came in with that Tari energy and gave us a nice boost. Same with Aaron due to his shooting.

    7. Brooks was hounding Grimes, but he has to be smarter.

    8. Grimes is a baller, hope we try to get him.

    9. Hollins nailed it, we gave them all the space to get confident and these are still NBA players, so even though their hot shooting was ridiculous. It wasn’t a fluke, luck or whatever, it was a DIRECT result of our lackadaisical play. So I am really we won, because I would not have been ready to hear the excuses that they just shot ridiculously well. Would not have been an excuse. Commentary was on point tonight too, kudos to the crew.

    10. Lot of respect for the Sixers team, came out with something to prove.

Left the dude wide open at the end of regulation that almost cost us the game though Jalen and Brooks were really upset about it.

I stop trying to explain basic basketball to some. Philly was playing 5 out last night. If the Rockets played 5 out, could you imagine how many more points Amen and Jalen would have?

It's hard to guard any NBA player one on one but especially hard to guard someone with the court spread.

Golden State played Denver, and one of them had to win. I don't know which result is better. Denver losing might be good too.
