Yeah somehow you come running to his defense every time anyone attacks him. You're just as gone as MAGA cultists
Biden’s downfall was mostly because of niche social issues. He seemed to just defer to his staff on those issues and it was a big mistake IMO.
Enjoy being blind. Elections have consequences. Someone dependent on federal aid - Medicare - Medicaid or other entitlements would have to be a complete idiot to vote for Donald Trump. He said what he would do - and is doing it… same with Hispanics in disbelief at ICE deportations. He said he would do this multiple times. So enjoy being blind - both proverbially and literally.
How do you know it's a genuine person? It looks like a very low effort troll account from a 15 second glance.
You should read the book, The attention economy. Its a great read by a Harvard professor that talks about how attention is the most scarcest resource in today's modern society. It's an amazing read https://a.co/d/0rGEbbj Bcz they had thousands of tweets supporting Trump before they deactivated.... you think it's a troll account cuz you give MAGA the benefit of the doubt for not being as stupid as they actually are.
Don’t worry it shouldn’t affect his base. It is not like the red states rely on entitlements. Everything will be fine.
Seems to me like you're too emotional about this, emotional people can't be logical, therefore are easily brainwashed. Like believing/thinking Trump is a fascist/racist dictator. Democrats prey on people's emotions and ignorance.
I'd say being old, followed by inflation was his downfall. That said, stances on trans/DEI/immigration were too far. Biden admin went too far one way, now Trump is taking them too far the other way.
Trunp isn't racist? How come they removed pages for Hispanic and Black veterans? How come they labled a black Medal of Honor recipient DEI? https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...department-black-medal-honor-webpage-restored
I am pretty sure he left his staff run the show which is what a good leader should do. We had pretty good economy. People hate trans people and immigrants. I am not even sure why? It is not like immigrants or trans people were really hurting their lives.
if this is real, I hope she loses her healthcare and goes blind…also hope she gets diabetic neuropathy and loses a foot
The draft of the memo viewed by Axios says the proposed limitations will be "significant" for those living in rural areas in particular. What they're saying: These changes, if implemented, would "cripple field office operations, and they're already badly paralyzed," that former official told Axios, requesting anonymity because they were on a job search and might work in the future with the Social Security Administration. Benefits are adjusted regularly as people's incomes change, they explained. Forcing all those folks to come into a field office "would, in essence, break the agency." DOGE representatives are well aware of these risks, the former official said. A second former official, who recently worked in operations and spoke on condition of anonymity due to fear of retaliation, said the money it would cost to implement these changes would dwarf any savings that would come from cracking down on identity fraud. "It is a big deal," says Kathleen Romig, a former Social Security official, and director of Social Security and disability policy at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, who worked at the agency for years under different administrations. Social Security "service disruption" State of play: The version of the memo ultimately sent to Dudek acknowledges that "Service Disruption" and "Operational Strain" is "a risk and challenge" of implementing this plan. There would be "increased field office traffic, longer call wait times and delayed processing," Diaz writes. The agency is already plagued by long call wait times and delayed processing. Diaz acknowledges in the memo that the beefed-up verification requirements would affect more "vulnerable populations," though she doesn't explain who she is talking about. But the earlier version of the memo goes into more detail about its significance, detail that was omitted from the final sent to Dudek. In it, Diaz notes that the agency general counsel's office "has advised that there is likely a segment of the public for whom internet ID proofing is not viable, and this proposal eliminates phones as a service channel for those customers."
Just last week I had a colleague in my office retire, she spent months leading up to it working with the SS department and she was constantly on the phone with them on hold for HOURS, there is a 30 day wait if you are trying to get a claim done. IMO this would be the one thing to make maga folks who voted for trump turn on a dime against him...............I am not sure what trumps end game is here, my folks are on it and I will be on it in 8-10 years. Is he going to try and privatize it or what........I do not see the long game here, folks like me who have paid into SS their entire life will not just roll over and placate this. If you want to give me all the money I have paid in for the 42 years WITH INTEREST, then we can talk. Maybe he just doesn't GAF and doesn't plan on leaving in 2028 but you cant F*** with the elderly who rely on this.....................it would be political suicide
