Williams was awful against Ohio State. His night culminated his awful performance by allowing Jack Sawyer to run right by him, strip the ball from Ewers, and return it for a TD. He lacks the quickness to consistently stop speed rushers.

I like Sawyer. If Hunter won't sign an extension I'd think about taking him with the 79th. A year to be an understudy to the swarm teachings.

Williams has a little subpar foot quickness that you want from your tackle. But he has the size and length that's hard to find for the position. Nobody thinks Williams is a first rounder. Which round do you think he will go this year?

    3rd?

It's rare to find a guy that can be a solid OT in the NFL. Relatively few can. Someone will take him but I believe he's a liability in pass protection. Just my opinion.

    Walker has injury concerns?

I thought he had effort concerns?

You know what type of scheme they're going to run?

This is what happens when Caserio was drafting for 3 different types of offenses. (Kelly, Pep, Slowik) It's an impossible task unless you get really lucky.

If a team drafts him they would be smart to move Williams into OG like Philly did with Becton.

Earlier this month it was reported that Walker was playing the past year with a back injury. Some type of fracture in the back spinal area.

It's already been reported that they would run a 60/40 power gap and inside zone scheme. Texans have a new offensive coordinator. Caly's got his offensive scheme that he's familiar with and wants to run. He's going to bring in new offensive linemen that he believes would work best in the new offense.

He's 6'6. He might be too tall to excel at guard.

    Becton seemed to do well.

Where was this reported, I keep up with this stuff pretty closely and I haven't seen this anywhere.

I saw Caley at his PC say he was going to be a gameplan offense (Pats) and incorporate the Rams stuff (McVay) but nowhere did I see him say he was going to run a gap scheme, much less a 60-40 mix. BTW, I would be very happy with a 60-40 mix and think this would help with some of the RZ woes.

As the OL matures, I like them to be able to utilize whatever works best at any given moment. I don't want a game plan which does not adjust quickly when needed. But to start off season practices, a mix is needed.

This is what Caley was referring to when he was talking about a gameplan offense.

Rule number one in Game Plan is the Game Plan has to adjust as needed.

It sounds like that is Caley's rule number 1 too.

That's what a gameplan offense is.

Well ****, if you wouldn't believe the guys own D1 head coach then I'm not going to try and convince you. I have my opinion and you're fine to disagree with it
