Obama wanted to cut social security and Medicare and even agreed to a deal with Republicans on doing so. Obama deported more individuals than any president before him. Obama tried balancing the budget. Obama allowed corporate consolidation and didn't enforce any antitrust laws. Obama was more centrist or even more so than Clinton. Most of it was about opportunity for poor Americans, which republicans have made their entire platform about crushing. Not a single US soldier was, or was going, to be involved in Ukraine. I listened to the speech twice - I don't know what you are talking about. There is very little similar between what Obama said in his speech and what Trump is doing or has said he would do. Show me the part where Obama talks about capitulating to Russia, alienating all of the US allies in the West - deporting 25,000,000 people, starting a trade war with Canada, China and Mexico. Discussing taking Greenland and the Panama Canal with military intervention if needed, enacting tariffs and unsupervised having the government gutted by people named "Big Balls". Also - please show me where the Republican party was in favor of supporting Russian invasions, tariffs, starting a trade war and was discussing annexing Canada, taking Greenland and invading the Panama Canal.
