A little place bordering the Braulio Carrillo National Park, that's a 30 minute jeep ride into the jungle from the town of Horquetas, called Yatama Ecolodge. I stayed there 3 weeks a couple years ago, and loved it.
That's nice, but I wouldn't place much faith in this type of analysis. I've been researching and watching the draft since the 70s and no mock draft gets it right. Prospect beauty (potential) is truly in the eye of the beholder (Team/Evaluators) especially this year and there are new GMs and coaches at the top trying to make their mark. For example, the Titans with the top pick have a new GM. Do you take the best QB, best player or trade back? If I'm him, I'd trade back and get more picks. If that deal isn't there or not lucrative, I'd likely pick Hunter or Carter (Hunter for me, he just seems special). The Browns need "HOPE" and I'm not sure Ward or Sanders represent that. They really can't afford another QB setback after Watson and while Kenny Pickett doesn't inspire a lot of confidence, I'd rather give him a shot and draft the best player available. Hunter or Carter would be a great #2 pick (Garrett and Carter would be a wrecking crew). That brings us to the Giants who are desperate for a QB and have a HC/GM on the hot seat. They make sense to take a QB to try to buy them more time as well as develop them. So should they trade up or draft at #3? Guess it depends on how much conviction they have that Ward, Sanders or even Dart can be there guy. Your competition for the top QB is likely going to come from Raiders or Jets, but their could be some wildcards in Saints or potentially the Colts that could really like one of those 3. I'll pause there because the point I'm trying to make is that this has the potential to be an unorthodox draft with some wild things happening. This is not the sexy draft with can't miss QBs and WRs at the top, but it appears to be solid with a lot of potential starters in the Top 100 players.. The draft strengths are DL, OL, DB, RB and TE. There should be some solid choices for us at OL at #25, but there should also be some value later as well. I'm excited to see what we do and won't be surprised if we add a CB in the first 3 rounds. Let's go!
I was wondering about something in the NFL that the NBA does or did. So like when Kobe entered the draft his agent got him a tryout with the Lakers. I Remember guards were not regarded highly coming out of HS in 96’. So Jerry West gave him a shot as a favor to Arn Tellem. So the way Jerry tells it is that Kobe came into the gym and dominated against some Lakers players he had that were considered good defenders. I’m guessing Eddie Jones, Ceballos and Van Exel. The rest is history. So does the NFL allow teams to bring in players for work outs against NFL players. Like can we have OL prospects go up against Hunter, WAJr and like Denico Audrey?

I'm keeping him since trading Dart is part of the value. I still like Mills, but Dart will inevitably want his shot to be a Starter, so being here is like getting an injury replacement before an injury because of the opportunity. It's along the lines of Flacco or Wilson coming in because of an early season ending injury. When the starter is back, he moves to his new team with experience.
Every veteran was once a rookie and some started right away and some had to get some seasoning. I'm thinking at least two of our rookies will be OL starters by Thanksgiving and more likely three. Of course injuries are going to happen, but I think both Guards and one Tackle will be starting or at least part of the rotation by then. Either Patterson or Scruggs will likely hold down either OC or a Guard position and either Howard or Fisher will be holding down LT. But injuries and the Draft could have a major impact. Also, a new start for Tomlinson ( a 2015 First rounder) and Ingram (a 2022 Second rounder) could have an impact on things.
Great start but I hope to God we don’t draft 4 OLinemen… one, we don’t need that many, two, we are in this position because we drafted the position so badly.. why on earth would our solution be to just spend half our draft trying again.
I hope they use the first pick on the OLine, and after that, either WR or Online, no particular order for picks 2 and 3. After that, another WR, defensive player, RB, and tight end in no particular order. Our offense needs the biggest boost this year.
I think Jackson and Milum are safe bets to be serviceable (or better) pros. Personally I think you're just playing odds after the first 2 rounds so I'm betting on the traits of Brown and Grant.
There is zero point in trading Mills. You simply cannot get a draft pick that is equivalent in what Mills provides to the team.. To the Texans he's worth a 1st or 2nd round pick. To a team trading for him, they see Mills value as a 6th or 7th rounder.
You think CJ can last to Thanksgiving? You can not take chances with your QB. I know you can't address everything but the OL is a must!
I may have not worded it right, but I agree. Dart is the trading value, not Mills. Unless CJ sustains a career ending injury, it's his team.
