There’s been a consistent occurrence of our stat keepers messing up and not credit our own players the stats that should match with what they’ve done on the floor. This season again plenty of steals in particular unaccounted for, it’s shocking. Tari had at least 2 last night and only got accredited 1, it’s annoying!
We need Jordan’s home game stat keeper. The Bulls stat keeper during the Jordan era was inflating Mikes steals and blocks. I forgot who it was but someone went and watched all the Bulls home games and they saw a huge difference between what Jordan did and what he was credited for. We need that guy for Amen. He would average 10 steals a game if he got the Jordan treatment.
There are tons of basketball fans that rely on stats to help them understand basketball, it’s annoying.

If you look at Jalen Green's stats this year....theyll tell you that he hasn't changed much in 4 years. If you watch the games, especially the last two months, you'll know that Jalen has made some incredible strides on defense and lately....on offense.
The Utah scorekeepers were notorious for inflating stats. When John Stockton retired, he had 30% more career steals and 50% more career assists than any other player.
Green WS/48 Year 1 : .015 Year 2 : .034 Year 3 : .056 Year 4 : .094 Gradual improvement year over year. Same is true for OBPM and DBPM. Some stats recognize the improvement.
