I have been a fan of Eason ever since they drafted him. Knew he was special, but seems like he has always been injured.

On his good nights he looks like that

On his bad nights he looks like Jae Crowder

Reality will probably be somewhere in between

He is the perfect complementary piece next to our offensive weapons. Defensive disruptor, legit catch 'n' shoot threat, physical, has a midrange shot, great rebounder. He'll be an irreplaceable part of this team for many years if he manages to stay healthy.

If Tari is healthy next year, he's gonna level up and force the Rockets to make some tough decisions. Even though he's very productive, this is a year of recovery for him. IMO, if he had been healthy last year and this year, he'd be playing 30 mpg and would have left Jabari behind.

Just saying. Yes, for those of you who think this is the only thing that matters, I realize Jabari is 2 years younger.

The IF is also very big. This year demonstrates Tari has a very good upside. Next season will define his career with health being the only thing that can hold him back.

I love how he’s balling and honestly, at this point, he’s deserving of and taken over the starting spot from Jabari. Especially with Amen out, he’s our energy guy on the floor. I also think it’s better he stay in the starting line-up for continuity and reward him, but also do not force Amen to come back immediately as a starter and play big minutes. Let him come off the bench, ease his way back and be that energy guy off the bench.

Is he playing today, or is he still under restriction and not allowed to play b2b games?

I think they said he is out today - load management.

I've thought he should start for the last couple of years, but instead of Dillon, not Jabari. Honestly a bummer that Jabari wasn't able to maintain his starting spot, he should be the guy shooting 40% from 3 like Dillon.

    Couple things

    1. Might be time to trade Jabari if we are choosing to go with Tari. We can't lose Jabari for nothing in FA and I doubt we will be willing to sign both to extensions.
    2. I would work on an extension with Tari this off-season. We could get him for less since the injuries are still a concern, like when the warriors locked up Curry for cheap due to the ankles.

Dillon is shooting too well to go to the bench. Which I guess is a good problem to have.

I think he's the next Lamar Odom with more defense, I said this a long time ago. Kawhi midrange game is inimitable
