    Klay has two more seasons left on his contract. I have the 2025-26 as sort of hopeless for Dallas. Maybe the 2026-27 will be okay to good for Dallas.

    So Klay is stuck in a poor situation unless Dallas trades him to a competitive team.

    Not that I feel sorry for him.

    Fred is back and I've noticed it really hasn't taken away on ball reps from Green. When Amen comes back Fred probably is going to be playing a lot more off ball than any time in his career.

    This version of Fred being support for Green and Amen rather than taking on ball reps away from them is what we need moving forward.

    Yeah, that sounds about right to me. That's why I'm still terrified of this GSW team, they only got better, and just got Kuminga back who was one of their best players but as long as they have Draymond and Curry I'm scared of that team. I'd literally rather these Rockets play anyone else in the first round. Give me Denver, Lakers, Minny, or Memphis.

    Maybe I’m wrong here, but I think Dillon the Villain might be more of a keystone than he appears. We’re probably closer to .500 without him this year. Good shooting all year, consistent, ball handling, passing, leadership… I don’t think we could be this successful without him. Maybe a trade for someone that fills his role would do, but he would need a replacement me thinks.

    Very true, I think I’m definitely guilty of overlooking a lot of the intangibles that he brings to a young team like the Rockets. He’s honestly been pretty fantastic with us, even though he makes me tear my hair out sometimes when he goes into “I’m gonna shoot and that’s it” mode.
