It seems you don’t fully understand U.S. history. During WW2, people did walk around the States showing support for Nazi Germany, including a famous rally at Madison Square Garden. During the Vietnam War, there were protests against the war, against U.S. military actions, and even pro-Viet Cong protests.

All of this was allowed because of the First Amendment (1A) to the U.S. Constitution. 1A protects the freedom of speech, allowing people to express their opinions, even if they disagree with government policies or support controversial causes.

I'm sure most of those were watched closely waiting for them to slip up. Just like the 11k of German-Americans that were in POW camps.

Being against a war is totally different from being a pro enemy

Not just against the war, but there were pro-Nazi and pro-Viet Cong protests as well.

You brought up the POW camps a few times. It's actually not POW (that's for captured soldiers - prisoners of war). It's the internment camps for civilians that the U.S. labeled as "enemy aliens" (simply for being Japanese-American, not due to their speech). These were later judged as violations of their civil liberties and are considered a dark chapter in our history, for which the U.S. government later issued an apology.

I'll stop here. But it seems to me you're advocating for people to be quiet, not speak controversially, and if anyone does, well, too bad if the government takes action against you. That's similar to what we see in authoritarian regimes like China. Basically, you don’t believe we should have the right to free speech.

It isn't going to get to this point - but it is one jump, hop and skip from seizing billionaires assets and deporting them.

No, it just makes sense to me, that if someone is supporting the enemy, that the government has a reason to pay attention, to make sure that individual doesn't do anything to harm the American people nor to help the enemy.

I wouldn't care if people saw what I looked like. I have nothing to be ashamed of.

He likes to insult people and he's overweight. To me it's the same thing. I do understand your point though

Because I don't agree with you politically. I could say the exact same thing about you

Well you saw what happened to Musk. Just two years ago he was a genius and now he's an idiot because he got with Trump. His iq went from 150 to 50, just because he decided to be politically active. Liberals are the most accepting people on earth but the catch is you have to agree with them.

Explain how emotional outbursts discredit views.

Do you have a hijabi family members like a mom that has experienced harassment before and now seeing this? Do you understand fascism effects differ people in different ways?

    Stick to your lane.

Painting with a broad brush there aren't you? This is class warfare more than liberal vs conservative and I've hated the billionaire class since the Citizens United ruling. What have they ever done for you to make you bend over backwards to support their agenda?

Ole Mahmoud doesn’t want his student disciplinary files released from Columbia to the Department of Education, so he filed a lawsuit seeking to prevent the release. I wonder what’s in those disciplinary files that he’s worried about? I wonder if he was one of the “protestors” who stopped the Jewish students from attending class, resulting in lawsuits that Columbia admitted fault and settled?

I understand everything you’re saying. And none of it serves as a justification to attack another person in the way you did. I achieved nothing and just makes people take you less seriously.

I think political / ideological personal attacks in this forum are way more fair game than weight, race, gender, disability etc

Oh, he thought only 50 people had been murdered by terrorists and that was his reaction. Well, that changes everything. Clearly his intent is not to discredit Israel or excuse Hamas, and he just wants an accurate accounting of events.

    Woke
    People have no real beliefs
They want gun control but not for Luigi cause he’s a good looking whitey
They want to stop oil so now they attack electric cars
They want diversity so they got rid of the diverse midgets in Snow White and replaced them with CGI
They want women’s rights but like dudes to beat them up in sports

when are we getting a blade movie ?

I wouldn't attack someone's race. That's out of bounds. However, he can control his weight. You can stay in shape.

Why do people get offended more about mean personal insults towards one individual over dehumanization of an entire ethnic group?

    Can you explain this phenomenon?
