I thought so at first too lol but I think he is just responding and talking to the assistant coach about something specifically about book
Damn I just looked at the last four games of the season. Those games are basically going to determine our seeding as they are all teams that are in that 3-8 range in seeding. So it's good that Amen most likely will be recovered by then.
There's one end of the spectrum w/ O's and his cult where they've been brain-rotted in to actively bringing more negative value to the forum than that which brain-rotted them in the first place. A Leopards made them eat their own face kind of thing if we're playing Reddit. The biggest IDIOT says what? "You can't out IDIOT me - watch!" As far as this game. The highlights will come. The perfect FG will come. All I want to see is quick decision making w/ Alpi and a more cohesive, team approach, to spacing. There are times Alpi will post up 6 feet in front of someone w/ an active dribble (this has happened w/ Tari like 5x over the last week) and call for a pass....he's actively cannibalizing the space and his opportunity to get the ball. IME needs to let the perimeter players know that you don't dribble inside College 3 when you have a great post-up player that demands the ball. The only time you should be there is part of a PnR, a drive, an action, or taking an open middie. These are fixable issues and we're back awash in W's so all good.
Maybe the most Xs and Os from Coach to date. Although, the PHO defense made it easy. Imma have to start capping these plays, now that we are actually using the options offered, rather than just going through the motions (pun intended) to get to end options we are most familiar with, ie not really even threatening slips and rejects out of our plethora of split action.
The last 7 games of the season are tough(aside from a home game vs Utah). The Rockets are in the midst of a 13-game stretch that's pretty soft, so this is where they need to capitalize. To their credit, they're 4-0 so far.
I missed most of the game, so I made an exception and actually listened to Calvin Murphy and Gerald Green postgame for a change. They loudly wondered why Booker and Beal each took more shots than KD (who only had 12 FGAs). They both said they didn't know why but were very glad about it. Then Murph made a comment that summed things up pretty well: KD didn't seem to mind at all.
