Seth made an interesting point during his Pod today. He said Tytus slid to LT for a spell in place of an injured Tunsil early in his career and did well. So there might be something there. Maybe he’s a follower and just needs better leadership.

Seth also made a very good point that Thera a difference between being likable and being a leader. Laremy was very likable in the locker room but he was no leader.

When has Howard ever been consistently good?

They need to either draft a LT or sign Cam Robinson. Howard isn't the answer at LT. He could probably fill in for a couple of games and be alright with a lot of help. Truth is Howard has been an avg RT at best and that's being generous.

Worth a shot on a 1 yr deal and probably cheap.

Didn't look like it last year, but he was playing with the NYJ, they can make any player look bad

He's going to be playing LT, but probably not well, partly due to Patellar surgery.

I'd love to draft someone better than Patterson and Scruggs.

    Scruggs Overall Grade
    63.6 (27th/64 - Cs)

    Pass Block Grade '24
    63.3 (38th/64 - Cs)

    Run Block Grade
    64.4 (29th/64 - Cs)

    Patterson OVERALL GRADE
    61.0 (37th/64 Cs)

    Pass Block Grade '24
    69.9 (16th/64 - Cs)

    Run Block Grade '24
    54.4 (51st/64 - Cs)

That's just gross incompetence at talent evaluation, contracts, extensions, and coaching. We have a long long long long way to go to have a top tier offensive line. We don't have money for top free agents, and certainly won't when we start negotiating contracts for Anderson, CJ, Stingley, and the rest. We better make a big splash in the draft this year and next on the Offensive Line or CJ is going to get knocked around, pressured, and sacked repeatedly the next two years.

Should have gone up 1 by trading Green... amirite???

Seriously, BDN... bring me the following on cheap deals and all is forgiven

T Joe Noteboom (possible LT... depending on draft)
    G/T Dalton Risner (possible LG)
    G/T Mekhi Becton (possible RG)
    T George Fant (swing T)

I’m hoping for Zabel or Booker in RD1 if we sign Kupp and take need for a WR #2 off the board.

This is what I don’t understand. We want to get Kupp and not draft a WR and be in the same situation next year?

F that! OG and WR are top two needs. Pick whatever round but we need those most.

I just heard John Harris and Marc Vandermeer on Sports 610!!! Lol

Harris, who I normally respect, said one of the most STUPIDIST THINGS I've ever heard.

He said that Nick and Demeco might have the thought of looking into the draft from this point on and finding a OG and a swing tackle to......CHECK THIS OUT.....Fit the Swarm Mentality! He said its HARD to teach that Mentality to a veteran vs a rookie.

Nick needs to bring in a veteran and stop looking for BARGAINS! You can not realy on ANY rookie at this point, especially after what happened last yr and what's been going on the past 6 or 7 yrs.
