What lessons can we glean from Jesus feeding the 5000? First Jesus did not say go take from the wealthy among the 5000 and redistribute it to the poor. No, he actually took from the least among them, a child. He miraculously turned a few fishes and loaves into enough to feed the 5000 including the child he had just taken the food from. Nobody from the right or the left could do such a thing, only Jesus could do that. Only Jesus is the lesson! And one final lesson. Nobody can earn their way into Heaven by works, I am praying for you Andre,
I'm hoping Jesus and hell are real just because I'm confident you'd be in hell. One thing I've learned from sincere evangelicals who actually follow Jesus is that the concept of merely expressing that you believe Jesus as your lord and Savior doesn't make you a Christian because that is a verbal expression. Because I asked them whether someone who raped and murdered can just utter that they believe in Jesus as their Savior before they die and go to heaven and they told me no because a sincere believe in Jesus being your Savior would show automatically in how you love your life. If you don't show empathy and kindness then you truly never accepted Jesus and just verbally express it and it doesn't count Because I was always told by the right wing fake Christians that you can't go to heaven through your actions. It the sincere Christians are like, when you sincerely believe in Jesus it shows through your actions You are one of those that just expresses Christianity through verbal expression of your belief rather than through action.
I mean it's the Americana version of Christianity that embraced individuality(aka greed) and.... Multi level marketing... That's the strain of Christianity people like CML follow. It's hollow. Vapid. Soulless
Buddy I've lived in a country full of White Christians with extremely strong opinions about Islam for multiple decades. You think this is a talking point that has any value?
Why did you take that as an insult to Islam? You missed the point entirely. The point weas you know very little about being a Christian. Your Muslim upbringing did not seem to take very well either since you turned out to be an atheist.
This has nothing to do with insulting Islam. This has everything to do with the concept of people who haven't been raised into a religion being confident in expressing opinions on said religion. Like I said, I've heard my entire life witnessing strong opinions about Islam from White Christians who weren't raised Muslim including from you. So ya I think I'm fine with having strong opinions about Christianity.
From what I have been told you can be the worst person in the world and make it through the pearly gates if you accept Christ before you pass away. Sweet get out of jail free card.
I've heard that from some. But I also heard from other Christians it doesn't act like a cheat code. A sincere belief in Jesus being your Lord and Savior would be shown in how you act and conduct your life..so yes they believe the only path to salvation is through believing in Jesus' divinity but that belief in his divinity would compell you to live your life a certain way instinctively.
AOC just keyed her own Tesla as a protest. She’s the leader of the Dems now according to the latest polls. She’s got 10 percent out of the field of clowns and communists. Bwahahaha! Would still hit it though.
This reminds me of dumb logic against Tilman @HP3 @Rocketeer @Andre0087 Cheapskates here hate Tilman for ‘being poor’ So they protest him by not going to the rockets games, yet show up to kemah and spend a fortune at bubba shrimp
Would rather spend my money at T-Bone Tom's. I grew up on their chicken fried steak. Also loved Burchess Two E's. Worked there while in high-school
But you understand the stupidity of protesting a product because of a dislike of a person. you can hate Colonel Sanders but that has nothing to do if his chicken tastes good plus nobody goes around attacking KFC unless they are dumb lunatics
