Honestly, @tinman was right and tilman is a better nba owner than Les Alexander

there are so many crap nba owners as shown by this mavericks ordeal

would you keep supporting a team under ownership that bad?

I wish at that point I would have the strength to not watch. I definitely would not follow it as closely though.

I would hire a hitman to assassinate Nico Harrison.

I'd change my allegiances. At least until the GM and ownership group are gone.

OP, what the Mavs did was not indicative of all owners. Don't paint a broad brush.

I would not be watching the games if I was a Mavs fan.

While this is the worst in history, there have been other trades that everyone knew was bad immediately. We're all familiar with the Harden trade that many immediately said was terrible for the Thunder.

If that happened in Houston, I think many of us would just be collectively putting pressure on ownership to fire the GM. At this point, I'm far too invested in the Rockets, maybe more than the owners if you count total time dedicated. I will likely still be around when there's a new owner.

I'm not sure about the conspiracy theories. I think the Mavs ownership doesn't know anything about basketball ops and put far too much trust in their GM and it backfired. Everything after that is just damage control.
