The word genocide is incorrectly used so as most things mentioned by radicals on a daily basis, means nothing. Population of Palestine grew from 1 million to 5 million over the past 50 years. 27k are said to have perished in this war.. that's less than 1%. Israel could have ended the war in a month but they had to tiptoe around to protect civilian lives. Every minority country in the world has a ruler or aristocratic class. Why don't you want to overthrow the ruler of Saudi after he chopped up a journalist? Do you buy Chinese products? In the West, I don't naturally call someone as an oppressor because they run a company, or are intelligent, or made millions playing a sport. What is your endgame with the hypocrisy?
Saudi Arabia has been committing a genocide in Yeman. The Saudi regime also has systematic abuse of its migrant labor population. I would love for the Saudi Regime to topple. In fact I remember Ilhan Omar asking for Muslims to boycott Hajj because of it. Do you know 80% of all water infrastructure in Gaza has been destroyed? The latest count of remaining hospitals I can find is this January with 16 hospitals partially functioning where 20 hospitals have been leveled. There are 1600 beds remaining of those 16 hospitals for a population in Gaza that is over a 1.5 million. It is assumed by most aid and human rights organizations that by the time the rubble clears, we will be in the 6 figure range of actual deaths. Currently it is confirmed 1200 entire family lines have been wiped in Gaza. The attack on civilian infrastructure making Gaza a place not viable for human life is an act of genocide.
@basso @tallanvor @CrixusTheUndefeatedGaul she explains everything perfectly Those Jewish kids in Columbia shouldn’t walk around in fear because of some brainwashed idiots
@pgabriel @CrixusTheUndefeatedGaul they should hold this dude hostage until his boys at Hamas release the real hostages I’d put him in an tunnel so he can feel at home @basso @HP3
The U.S. protects political speech, even when it's offensive or unpatriotic. For instance, the "Unite the Right" rally, despite its antisemitic rhetoric, was legally protected under the First Amendment. Similarly, protests where people chant "Death to America" or burn the American flag are also protected forms of expression. Some people choose to come here because of this U.S. house rule (to escape authoritarian crackdowns on speech in their native countries.)
Would like to know what these flyers he supposedly passed around said. Someone should put up a copy online. Did it advocate for murder of civilians, or was it just critical of Israel? Disrupting class is a red herring. That’s not why he was arrested. Students feeling “unsafe” due to speech they don’t like used to be a thing Republicans mocked and laughed at, but now it’s a serious offense worth deporting someone over. Uh huh.
Is this the flyer mentioned by the press secretary that Khalil was supposedly passing around? https://www.palestinechronicle.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/PDF.pdf The flyer, which explicitly defends Al Aqsa Flood and Hamas, doesn’t actually advocate for terrorism and instead presents a false narrative that Hamas was trying to avoid harm to civilians. This is no doubt propaganda that seeks to whitewash Hamas’s crimes, but if you care about free speech then you should support the right of people to distribute it.
Man, I really dont think Hakeem would like you at all Tinman, the biggest 99er would probably have Dream slapping the **** out of him if he knew who you really were.
you cant even get which century it happened in correct jorge/texxx! was it the 7th century AD or 711? talk about a "liberal rewrite". LOL. ive never been on tiktok, but you clearly just copy/pasted this from wikipedia! LOL. try again texxx!
Exactly. Where are all the 'libertarians' seeking to defend this infringement of liberty. It's very un-libertarian of them. I guess they are only selective libertarians.
ive yet to see a single piece of evidence that he is a "hamas cheerleader". if you, transman or anyone else have anything then please share!
A KKK guy has free speech here. The legal system shouldn't touch him for saying Muslims are violent colonizers. Nor should he be denied anything by the government (in education or elsewhere) we make available to the public, though he might be asked to leave by an institution if he violates terms of service. We let KKK have public rallies and do marches. And people get all pissed off about it, but the government allows them to demonstrate because it's protected speech. I'm not sure what your point it here. That's why I started this thread -- it's about our rules. And our rules say that everyone has rights that cannot be infringed upon by the government. And most of those rights are not reserved for just the citizenry. One of those rights is to free speech, in which Khalil was engaged. But that's not even the most relevant or important one to me here. He and I have a right to be secure in our person and effects and cannot be harassed by the government without a legitimate cause. He is standing within our rights and the government has chosen to infringe upon them. He and I have a right to due process. Usually that means they can't imprison him without first going through the court system. In his case, they want to pull a fast one and put him in our deportation system instead. Due process there would be to formally strip his LPR and then start deportation proceedings, but that's not how they're proceeding. So his right to due process is also being abrogated. And ultimately this thread is about me. Because I've marched for Palestine and I've shitposted on the internet about Israeli apartheid. Trump wants to deny Khalil his civil rights to silence him about Palestine because he's the lowest hanging fruit and he ultimately wants to silence me too. Civil rights are all held in common. If he abrogates Khalil's rights, he also abrogates yours and he abrogates mine. We didn't defend this Constitution for 200+ years just to have Trump come along and say it doesn't mean what you think it means. It's not Khalil disrespecting our rules, it's Trump.
