I lived in UAE, Germany, and China, traveled everywhere, and strongly second the appeal of small German villages and Japan. Vietnam is my favorite country in the world - Vietnam/Japan would be about as perfect a vacation as is possible. Also, I hear your concerns @deb4rockets, but there is no issue or meaningful restrictions as an American woman in Dubai. I wouldn't raise my daughters there (one reason I left), but as a tourist it is fine (on the other hand, Saudi is getting better, but still not good). That said, it is hyper-artificial and probably not worth the trip unless you really just want to see the fancy buildings and tourist traps. Also, the OL still needs work.
absolutely love Japan. Especially Osaka. Going back in November, this will be year 3. I want to make it a yearly thing if I can afford it. Truly an introvert's paradise (amongst many others as there is something for everyone). Tons of great sports bars/pubs there too. Could go on and on. sorry everyone. back to it.
Just a random tidbit to throw. I’m friends with Donovan Jackson’s pops and he said Texans are a team he feels could be the pick, but he also doesn’t care where he goes. (Of course) aka the team knows Donovan well. He’s such a Demeco type guy.
Exactly, Caserio needs to structure contracts like Roseman does. However to do this ownership would have to front out more money in terms of upfront signing bonuses. The McNair's have never and probably will never operate this way and as a result will probably never bring a Lombardi to Kirby. Because many of the teams they're competing against do operate like the Eagles do. The way the McNair's operate put them at a competitive disadvantage.
Donovan would be a smart pick at 25, because he could play guard, but slip to LT if need be. Dad's saying the right thing, but you know he'd love if his son could play here.
Honestly, I could care less about fancy buildings and hyper-artificial places to vacation in, and even if Dubai is safer for a woman I still wouldn't feel comfortable there. Small villages, beautiful scenery, wildlife, and being as far away from crowds as possible is a relaxing, and chilled out escape from Houston for me.
Sad, but true. I hope we draft well, and hit the jackpot with the right fit or two for our offensive line.
You know ST isn't sexy, but it damn sure can win or lose games if it's not taken seriously and invested in. Also sometimes those dudes surprise on O or D. See Zack Braun the Super Bowl Champ.
Jenkins has had injury issues. Spotrac had him at 3 yrs 30 mil. Caserio isn't going to swim in that pool.
Yes! Niemann was on my list of FA targets, but LB was pretty low on the list. Could be Cashman 2.0 with Cap's tutoring
Imagine drafting these guys in rd 3, Defense would be elite and deep at all positions across the board. Alfred Collins DT Texas Jacob Parrish CB Kansas St.
