I'm fine with this strategy, but someone who can properly identify and scout talent on the o-line needs to be leading that discussion. Because the Texans have struggled to draft o-line more than probably any other position over the last decade. If they whiff on another first round o-linemen, it'll be devastating.
I like this. The defense is pretty much all set now, right? They can focus mostly on offense in the rest of free agency and the draft.
Meaning Fisher at LT, Tytus at RT, Patterson at C and two brand new guards through the draft supported by grizzled vets
True but the law of averages is on our side. We can't continue to draft that bad right. Glass half full post on my part.
If Walter Nolan, Kenneth Grant or Alfred Collins falls to you in a good spot, not sure how you past on that. You can never have enough. Look at the Niners and most recently the Eagles.
Here's hoping Caley is as good at evaluating offensive talent as Meco is at evaluating defensive talent
I agree being able to rush only four and get to the QB while dropping everyone else in zone is why the Eagles decimated the Chiefs.
