LOL I get it, and truly hope that Suns don't make the play in. I'm just not too confident as it's only a 2.5 game separation and suns have stepped it up the last few games.
That's all they were doing recently before playing crap teams like New Orleans, Dallas, and now *ahem* Phoenix. And they almost lost to them, too. lol.
I'm worried that if Dallas starts to win even while this depleted, they will find a way to sit even more of their players...
they cant sit anyone. They have 7 players and literally cant add. They have 2-3 out due to comeback. Kai Jones, Hardy, PJ Washington
The Bulls lost Giddey because of a sprained ankle tonight. We have a game with them this coming Saturday, and that just got a little easier.
Great win and I was very underwhelmed by the physicality and toughness of the Magic. Also their offense is awful, even worse than ours. We did play great defense and yeah that Isaac man, special player. Loved how Jabari was fired up for this one, how Jeff showed AGAIN why he always needs to play and the Twin Towers is just beautiful. The amount of fouls they get away with on Adams is just tremendous because there’s no way you can throw him around, although he did fall down a couple of times and once from a shove that didn’t get called. The one thing that does “scare” me for the lack of a better term is Green’s ball handling skills. The amount of times he just looses it by himself because he’s doing something fancy or getting into the lane is ridiculous. Off-season priortity number 1 for him is ball handling and stop palming it so much. If the NBA actually called it like they should, Green would get 5-10 TOs a game. He should reach out to Curry for real.
Nice to see the team dig deep and grind out a win. They built a lead and didn't cough it up. The Magic shooting 25% from 3 did help. On the flip side, it's not a great sign when the coach's postgame comments mention our zone more than late-first round talent Cam Whitmore. But then again, Cam must not be ready. Since the all-star break, he's been missing in action. Hopefully, Cam will snap out of whatever funk he's in between games and start contributing to the team. He's got so much talent that other drama must be getting in the way.
Been a while since I've watched the Magic. Their offense looks much worse than it did last season. A lot of Banchero and Wagner driving, throwing the ball up uncontrolled and flailing, hoping for foul calls.
Do we have a thread to talk about zone defense? Ours looks like it has potential, but we may have started too late. We get lost a lot.
Solid win for the Rockets after the slow start. I was at the game and had a pretty good seat in section 110. Almost the entire row I was sitting in was empty til early in the 2nd half when a bunch of women finally took their seats around me. And they spent most of the time taking selfies and playing on their phones. The lady next to me even asked what quarter it was with 2 minutes to go in the 3rd. I hope the fan attendance improves over the next few years as the team continues to get better. Why even go to a game if you're not gonna sit in your seat and be engaged at all in what's happening on the court?
