When Simmons went down, Ohio State turned to Jackson — a multiyear starter at guard — to kick out to tackle, and the results were very good. Jackson, like Banks, could line up inside or outside, depending on what the team drafting him needs. 58. Houston Texans: Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford 89. Houston Texans: Jared Wilson, C/G, Georgia
It was Hunter’s first game back from injury. He was not 100%. People are taking away too much from that game.
Possibly. I’m not saying I want the guy, there’s other high upside players later in the draft I would take. Like Teslaa. Just saying he cooked the “Heisman” winner.
No good trades to early 2nd for Zabel, Jackson and Savaiinaea, but this might be better. Two Trades. NYJ 25 for 42, 73 and 2026 2nd. DET 42 and 243 for 60 and 2026 2nd 58.Kenneth Grant DT Michigan - Young and promising DT with training from Rankins and Autrey 60.Tate Ratledge OG Georgia - While not a top 4 OG, he should be solid 73.Mason Taylor TE LSU - The traditional Blocking TE who can also catch. He could pair well with Cade. 89.Jack Bech WR TCU - Extremely intriguing WR who can play X, Y or Z and with good hands and a superior blocker. 127.Ozzy Trapilo OT Boston College - OT depth with the length to stick at OT 167.Brashard Smith RB SMU - The backup who could be a surprise if needed. 2026 DET 2nd - extra early pick for value as signing our core gets expensive. Probably late 2nd. 2026 NYJ 2nd - extra early pick for value as signing our core gets expensive. Probably middle 2nd.
I like the picks. With the exceptions of Rutledge, I doubt any of those players will still be available.
If the Texans want a WR in the 2nd round, they need to trade up. There will be a run on WR before the Texans pick with Chargers, Panthers, Packers, and Bills right before them all with WR needs.
Chargers - Burden Panthers - McMillan Packers - Golden Boom! That’ll free up Egbuka at 25 or Higgins at 58 Most likely not
Would you take OT Will Campbell at 25? There's talk he is in for a big slide on draft day because of the 32 inch arms. He's got shorter arms than what a lot of teams require for tackle and his body type is not what you look for in a Guard.
will Campbell at 25?!????!! Dudes like top 10. No way he’s there at 25. But yea, it take it and buy a single lottery ticket and win 450miliion
Not only was the arm length short, but the wingspan came up five inches shorter than the mean for offensive tackles. Length and wingspan are important for picking up speed rushers on the edge. If teams are looking at Will Campbell as a guard, would you still consider him a top 15 pick?
Anybody know if the Texans have all their picks #1-7 in the 2026 Draft? Plus, now another 2nd & 4th. I can't seem to find a '26 list anywhere.
