Most stars seek out teams that have good 3-pt shooters as well. Ready made teams. For years Harden wanted to play next to Embiid. That fizzled out after one year together.
That was an unreal comeback by the Suns and a monumental collapse by the Clippers. Booker did his best to blow it at the end.
It’s been 2 months since this thread was created. Suns still in the #12 spot, but they have the toughest remaining schedule in the NBA. They’ve been playing hard, but losing close games. #9-12 only separated by 2 games. Realistic best case scenario is #9 (20% odds at top 4 pick) heading into lotto night. Dallas becoming a tanking team hurts. Rooting for Dallas to win really hurts.
Yeah. I think realistically they will finish 10 or 11. I expect Portland and Orlando to surpass them. I'm concerned Dallas could drop below them. And I do think there is an outside chance that the Bulls could pass them. The injuries to Wenbanyama, AD and Kyrie hurt us here. I think they could even fall to #8 if it weren't for that.
thinking about this, I wonder if we could snag Jaden McDaniels this off-season. They HAVE to make some salary changes and not sure they will trade ant nor could they move gobert. Naz and Donte would also be good targets imo.
All I want to know is who’s sick enough in the head to watch today’s Dallas v Phoenix game? You sick puppies
If it is a close game, I may put it on with 2-3 minutes left. It would be like that South Park episode with both teams trying to lose except the teams aren't trying to lose.
I don’t know if Dallas will ever win again because no one can be that primary scorer. And it sounds like weak ass AD will cop out for the year.
It looks like the league wants PHX in the play-in. They are getting every foul, but the Mavs get none.
I don’t think the league cares where Phoenix ends up. I think they want Dallas to get in the lottery so they can reward them for the Doncic fiasco. Mark my words, they are going to get a top two pick.
Big day today for the lotto potential of this pick. Be huge for POR to beat GSW and keep alive the dream they will go past PHX and the flagging Mavs. A combination of PHX win and DAL and POR loss gives the Suns back control of their own destiny for the final play-in spot, with no real pressure on the chase any longer.
Man, the Suns and Mavs are both in very close games. Obviously, a Suns loss and Mavs win would be huge.
It is pretty clear KD is the only superstar in PHX. Booker is not good enough to be an alpha but he is making the super max. In this game KD is the one carrying them not Booker.
