The gov became way too comfortable just throwing money all over

Honestly their trust is shot. What is the return on our taxes? The roads and infrastructure is failing. Many fire depts are volunteer. The school system is failing badly. The corporations are allowed to pollute the water and food with few consequences.

Seems like a bad investment for us.

We are paying for the massive boomer generation to have Medicare which is another case of rampant fraud. They voted Every time for a bail out and now families can’t afford homes.

They never let the market correct. Or barely and then bailed it out.

"We have a federal soending problem which is why I support Donald Trump buying shitcoins like ripple with no value just so folks close to him can get rich" lol

@Tomstro @Salvy @cml750 I'm still waiting for a single MAGA cultist to tell us why the us government needs to buy ripple or other alt coins with no value ?

@Nook Can you tell me what's the reason why Trump needs to spend billions on buying crypto coins but at the same time fire hundreds of thousands at the VA?

I agree. We should not tax people who work and get paid for said work.

We should tax the people who sit around and grow their wealth by throwing money around while growing that wealth because they live in a stable society propped up by public education, infrastructure and defense. Many wealthy owners of capital in agriculture have learned how much social safety nets maintain the level of demand for their products that generate the wealth they make.

So tax the people like Musk, Bezos, Theil etc who don't work for a living and just accumulate wealth off of others' work.

Reagan jump started the trend of converting federal services and projects that were administered under the actual government to outsourced private contracts where that public tax money is distributed to the wealth accumulation desires of private interests.

This is why the amount of federal employees as a percentage of the total workforce has DECREASED over the past decades. A lot of those positions in government are being taken over by private interests. So instead of a government salaried employee being a manager or administrator of a service or agency it's a corporate executive with stock options. Suddenly that service once ran by the government where its motivating factor for existing was to serve the public good now exists to funnel wealth to private owners.

Hence the increased cost of government but reduced government services and positive impact to the public. It's because that tax money now is being spent to satisfy the wealth hording interests of the wealthiest people in this country.

Eliminate the government partnership with private capital. Eliminate the waste of paying tax money to satisfy shareholder interests of private companies.

I just solved your government waste problem. You are welcome.

No. Do away with federal income tax altogether. I could be down with some local taxes. You just want a billionaire tax. That’s an old idea. The problem is that, one of the reasons they are billionaires, is they learn how to get around taxes. Ending income tax would quell a lot of government corruption. It’s out of hand.

But is it corruption that the left needs more than the right?

Give me a ****ing break. Trump nor none of his cultists care about government waste. Trump spent 10% of the overall "savings" found by doge on advertisements congratulating himself on fox News

Were firing hundreds of thousands of veterans just so we can run fake advertisements on foxnews.

Its a braindead low iq cult

Braindead cultists whine about government corruption but when their cult leader charges millions of dollars for meetings with business execs that's totally fine.

None of these braindead cultists about corruption

DOGE is doing its job. Slashing the bloated bureaucracy. Uprooting waste, fraud, and abuse in record speed. Our taxpayer dollars were being pumped into lunatic fringe NGO's that Democrats used to artificially promote their message (social deception campaigns), financially reward their people, and fund their causes that couldn't attract investment elsewhere. Corruption and fraud personified. Trump is ENDING IT. And restoring power to the people -- what Democracy is meant to be!

It's funny trying to talk with people who obviously read Ayn Rand in the 9th grade and have never had the motivation, or brainpower, to re-evaluate the world since then.

What's even funnier is when people look at our country adding $2 trillion to the debt every year and decide that the solution is more spending, more war, and a wide open border. And most Democrat voters aren't smart enough to understand Ayn Rand today... or even make it through the whole book.

    GOOD DAY

Don't you want more spending by replacing federal services with private entities that have people who are in it to generate new high scores for wealth?

I love the simplicity of Ayan Rand characters being either evil or good. It's a very child like mindset she had. Very naive. She sounded like a person who never worked for a living.

Rush's album 2112 was based on the Ayn Rand novella Anthem.
    Just a fun fact.

Could easily be turned into Trump resorts. Wasting beautiful areas like Grand Teton for some hikers and bears.

Wow great idea. Sell off all the timber, national treasures, and national parks to fund the tax freaks for the wealthy. What could possibly go wrong!!!
