He's in the lower percentile because he's the only one who plays with a space eating center. It's the system.

Think about how he played during the 11 game winning streak last March

The problem is not just the space eating C but despite all their synergies Amen is a second negative shooter on the floor.

What are we supposed to do though? Not start Amen or Sengun? Not possible anymore, they're too good. We have to bank on their shooting to improve or break it up.

Only one? Are you crazy? You’re saying that every team has a shooting 5? He also played without a stretch 5 during the winning streak when landale, who can’t shoot, played more.

    Jalen in March.

15.4/4.2/3.8 on 37.5% from the field and 30.5% from 3. Was limping a few nights ago so seems like something is bothering him. Unfortunate with Amen's injury. Could use a few games rest the kid's been an ironman this year and last.

I'm not ready to pounce on Jalen yet. Let's chill and be a little more patient.

Jalen has backslided in a big way in the month of March, tbh this is something I didn't expect and I am extremely disappointed.

Yeah he is playing with both Sengun and Ame but that's not an excuse because Sengun, Amen and DB have continued to be efficient from the field. Two things I will say is the defense is still good and the playmaking has been improving a little bit. However it doesn't make up for the fact he has been extremely inefficient especially since the last 2 games were cake walks.

Next two games are against Magic and Suns Jalen needs to step it up esp if Amen misses those games.

I've said exactly the one same consistent thing for 3+ years: it's the spacing. It's not always someone else. It's never Jabari, FVV, 39%-Brooks, Holiday, Whitmore, non-shooting Adams, Jeff Green, Tari Eason or Reed Sheppard. It's never even if there's only one negative shooter on the floor, I always say it's when we go overboard and have 2 extremely poor or non-shooters. We've been between 25th and 29th in TS% for 4 seasons now. Only 2 playoff teams have spacing that bad, and those teams have 3 players who's TS%'s continue to decline (Sengun, Banchero, Wagner) and Jalen keeping it around the same level only by improving his shooting. This is not Rocket science.

Even if you are in some woo woo land where you think all the more successful coaches in the NBA are stupid for taking spacing seriously, it doesn't warrant this level of being a douche. So you'll excuse me if I say: stop being such a passive aggressive troll. You've thought 30 million things since Jalen Green was drafted, you're a f*cking mess with your analysis and you're a bitter angry little ****er because YOU can't figure out what's going on.

Imagine being so f*cking broken inside that you blame someone else for your own shitty internal habits. The funny thing is, you think you act like a dick because of "someone else" called Jalen. Mr accountability over here. Well done.

Agreed. He is doing a way better job of hitting the pocket pass lately, along with all the other Fred responsibilities he is trying to implement.
    That's some deep psychoanalysis, Bub.

Nah, that would require you to have depth.

Tell everyone how you don't believe spacing matters, I'll wait.

He looks like he is coasting on offense lately. Part of being a number 1 option is a consistent approach and aggression game to game, and that's just not who he is.

Hopefully he has another good stretch this season, that would be great during a playoff push.

If you listen to Ime last night Post Game, he mentioned that Jalen has been focusing more on the PG duties/passing, than scoring.

If you notice he is setting his teammates up more, than scoring. That's why

I want him to look to score first. Especially with Amen out for awhile now we will need it, badly.

Jalen’s been struggling with his shot, but I think he’s been playing a decent floor game lately.

OK but thats not what the coach wants....

Ime has been quoted many times recently that he is asking Jalen to play more of the floor general role with Fred out. Hes mentioned "taking the singles" and commented about setting teammates up. Ultimately it is something Jalen neeeds to improve.

With Amen now out, Reed out, and if Fred doesnt come back soon, we are gonna have to rely HEAVILY on Jalen being the PG, which in my opinion wont look that great.

I am hoping for HEAVY Jalen+Alpi PnR. They are our 2 best facilitators left, and they work the action decently well.

But I expect Teams to double and blitz Jalen relentlessly to take the ball out of his hands. We have no one else capable of dribbling and passing at respectable levels.

Our real only hope is for Jalen to go March Jalen and turn things up dramatically and get scorching hot.

I think our boy is worn down from a long season. He is the last man standing not to miss time. He looked great until recently but it’s hard to blame home when people are missing time left and right around him

That heated Back wrap has become a staple of this team's accessories like the headband.
Saw Green with it before the game and after the 30 pt lead.
