Alperen Sengun is the Rockets' franchise player

Sarcasm? Alp had 2nd best +/- this game (+15).

 

Of course it is sarcasm. Still much better than the paulo alves guy who marketed .692 ft% vs .693 as 'ft% decreased from last year'

 

@Stephen_A had an absolutely miserable night. Rockets won with Alp leading the charge. Hope he's okay.

 

PF is a nice role for him. Too strong for the opposing PF, too quick for the opposing Center.

 

Sorry man, there are a lot of personalities on this forum and sometimes hard to differentiate humor from ignorance.

 

Come on! Those idiots don't have the capacity to market +15 as a negative statistically .

 

Or add a big PF like Naz Reid in offseason. Naz can stretch floor + REB + defend other bigs.

Matchups matter but it is a great curveball to throw at teams.

Alp-Stevo-Jabari-Amen and Reed was as curve ball as you can get. Replace Reed with Tari + this terror towers unit is lock down on defense as well as on the glass.

 

Need to see more of the triple big lineup.

The spacing comcerns are so overblown. The reason why Alp-Stevo-Amen lineups work so well is all 3 have high IQ, are good passers + understand creating space via verticality.

Still it looks ugly when sengun tries to post up and Amen's defender completely leaves him open to help defend Sengun and Amen can't take the shot. But i agree overall to what you say, if they can slightly improve their shooting, it should be enough.
