I'm not putting guys like Jokic, Shai, Tatum, and Luka (Mobley and Chet are probably untouchable too, but what the heck) in the poll, as there's almost no chance of them getting dealt.

    Personally....LaMelo, Mobley, and probably Giannis...
MAYBE even Ant, Maxey, and Banchero.

    Stephen Silas supports this thread.

LaMelo on this list is vomitous.

I wonder if the question might work in the other direction Plowman?

As in, which of those teams would consider trading their guy for Sengun. I imagine, of those listed, not many/ none.

I could see why Charlotte would consider trading LaMelo for Alpy.
I don't think any of the other players would be considered a 1-1 swap by their team (ie, we would have to attach assets, or lots of assets, to get a deal done)

There isn't any players I'm interested in that aren't "untouchable."

You won't get a player back in a trade that is younger and has more potential than Sengun.

Tough one. With a 3PT shot, I think the has a higher ability to win a playoff series than all those guys and I very much believe he will develop that in the near future. Sometimes people work on their shot and there's a delayed improvement. Amen's corner shooting is very promising too, so if they have patience, I'm happy to just keep working on their jumpers.

Now if I were to hypothetically choose the best fit, I'd swap him with a lesser player who fits better. Probably Mobley because he can space the floor and protect the rim while outrunning C's.

I personally don't think he's ever going to be a good 3 point shooter. He's shooting worse from outside than Amen and he gets just as wide open looks. Usually 3 point shooting is correlated with free throw shooting and Sengun is a very subpar free throw shooter who's gotten worse from the line year after year.

Average FT% for bigs in NBA is 69%. Sengun is 70% career FT%.

    Giannis or Ant

I don’t think Ant would be traded if they actually turned down Luka.

    1. LaMelo Ball
    2. Evan Mobley
    3. KAT
    4. Banchero
    5. Maxey
    6. Haliburton
    7. Ant
    8. Giannis
    9. Chet

All of those players in a heartbeat except Chet because of injuries and KAT because of age.

With Banchero, Maxey, Haliburton, Ant and Giannis - I will pay for Sengun's uber ride.

Mobley is more questionable, but his defense is so good that I think I would deal for Mobley as well.

    lol, don’t get me started…

OP really said MAYBE Ant. Seriously? Anyone who wouldn’t trade Sengun for Anthony Edwards has an extra chromosome or something

Teams would ask the Rockets to attach multiple first round picks. Sengun is getting exposed every game now, too many flaws compared to... what good does he do... fancy assists, that he even rarely executes. All teams know how to shut him down. Team offence is bogged down with the SenHub.

With that contract, and no more usaid money... Stone would be having a hard time getting rid of Sengun.

I hear ya Doc. My intention was to make him the principle piece.
As you know, big men take awhile to develop. And, his combination of abilities is rare.

More important question - what's the average FT% for bigs that can make 3s? Last I checked it's well over 80%.

    Trade the entire team =/
This miserable fan base will still cry when the new guys are chasing down 40 yr old Stefon and 50 yr Butler, screen after illegal screen.

Jackson Gatlin will have a Meltdown guaranteed.

Jackson wants to trade everyone on the roster except for Alperen Sengun.

It will be so funny to watch him cry and blame everyone.

I omitted him due to unacceptable downside risk to injury, DaDa.
    On talent, most assuredly.

Alperen Sengun leading the Team in the Worst Free Throw Percentage. And the Rockets are Last in the NBA in Free Throw Percentage due to Alperen Sengun.
