Finished in last place, gets fourth pick, love how they worked out…..

I’m going to need a lot of help for this draft now….

 

@Ray Martinez going to need keeper selections if we are starting our draft tomorrow.

 

Guys,

I am really going to need one of you to help me with the draft. I was originally extremely concerned about coming back this year, as I am going through a lot medically. Most importantly, It appears not only that I will have another surgery soon, while I am still recovering from the last one, I am still trying to learn how to walk again as well of just every day function - it is absolutely crazy what I am going through and for the second time.

That being said, I love playing in this league and thought that finishing last, would allow me to pick first, where at least I would have the wrap around pick, allowing me to pick twice, so I didn't have to check the status of the draft as much. However, for some reason I am picking in the middle (still don't understand that), which will require me to be much more attentive and have to check back quite often to see if I am picking or not - that's going to be difficult and has me very concerned - as I don't want to be the one holding this thing up. Had I originally knew this new format, for deciding order, probably would have just bowed out because of my current situation.

If someone can help me pick my team, that would be great. I'll try to do what I can, but with the therapy and medical stuff, this is going to be difficult, some days to check. I don't really want to rank guys or have to send lists every time (once again the middle makes that even difficult), just may have to let you pick for me........... I appreciate the help.............

@Rocketball sorry to hear about the medical issues. We will do what it takes to keep you in the league.

We've done weighted randomization of the bottom four teams for the past 3 years now, I think. It was needed to de-incentivise tanking since before that we had a team purposely benching players down the stretch.

You actually finished second last in total points last season, by the way, so wouldn't have been on the bookend regardless.

What do you think would be a good solution to help you out? Maybe give you your own timer and pick for you according to a set of rules if time elapses?

Thanks, I definitely understand, I did not realize that, that's on me, should have asked. I will send you a note outside this as I just don't want to slow this thing down, so may just need you to pick for me at times, but I will try and do my best.

 

If Rook would trade Skenes for Framber, I will trade my entire draft order for Rooks (except what I owe Fade and Flash in swaps). Problem solved. And then we both get what we want. So I would move to the 4 position and Rook would move to the 1 position for the entire draft.

 

PSJ, I appreciate but will leave it as is and Fade has promised to help me out and make picks for me. I appreciate everyone’s help, this is a tough time for me right now, but didn’t mean to cause this mess, but still looking forward to continue to play…. thanks everyone….
