Fakers and Worriers look legit. And there is 1 game difference between 6th and 10th place. We are on a massive slippery slope.
It's great that we finally got the sharpshooting floor-spacer we desperately needed! Roddy on his 2-way is perfect!! ...SMH (career 30.5%) ffs
You should be concerned because these teams were cherry picked to create an all is right illusion for Rockets.
I had no expectation of a Championship this year I think Shooting can and will improve I think we have player buy in which is very important Rocket River
This team is absolutely primed for a massive consolidation trade this offseason. Everyone not named Amen or Reed (sorry Reed haters) is probably on the table.
Every player should be on the table with possible exemption of Amen. But Rockets need to consider every offer + every path seriously.
I sure hope there is some internal improvement in shooting. But Rockets are near last in every important shooting category to expect the internal improvement necessary for a championship contending team. An external solution must also be added because putting all eggs in one basket is not good business.
I've believed this for a while. Eventually, most folks here will come to understand. 2-3 (or more) youngsters won't return next season. FVV and DB are question marks too.
I would put over-under on 2 players. There is no rush to trade 3 or more before it is financially necessary.
Reed is the only player/prospect on this team with a complete offensive arsenal and game command. Which is frankly really ****ing sad because we've drafted 6 offensive upside players (Jalen, Sengun, Amen, Jabari, Cam, Reed). He is a rookie but his game control and ability to hit almost any shot on the court is incredibly incredibly rare. I can't overstate that enough. He might be our best offensive prospect which is as much a compliment to Reed as it is an indictment on everyone else. He showed more offensive capacity in ONE game than Jabari Smith, Tari Eason, Amen Thompson and Cam Whitmore have in their respective careers. Jalen and Sengun are simply the most experienced but they should be further along than they are. They both have put together complete games in their 4 year careers but I can almost name all of those games off the top of my head. That's how few times it actually happens. Sengun has straight up regressed this year. Jalen has progressed a bit but is still a microwave scorer that cosplays as a ball handler. He's not KPj but hes not not KPj in that sense. I don't know if Sengun's back issue is bigger than they're making it seem but the dude has left everything short this year. This teams got some big issues that need addressing this offseason. Luckily we're ahead of schedule and can make some of these decisions now instead of a year from now.
