3. Pacers lose rebounding battle 41-72 but it doesn't matter In the modern NBA (or even in a bygone era), losing the rebounding battle by 31 boards should be enough for a blowout, but the Pacers were able to limit second-chance points and prevent the Rockets from going on an untimely run when it mattered most.
+/- data has a lot of fluccuations. Outside probably Reed and Jock, no one is close to Green over any decent sized sample. Green isn't bad every game, but the Rockets are dominant usually when he's out. This isn't to say Green is a bad player. Green is not a good off ball defensive player and the Rockets have difficulty covering for him unless the Rockets have 3 switchable defenders with him and not tied down on a playmaker. Raising pitchforks about +/- data or the use of stats in general is just a distraction.
It's kinda weird. I kinda stopped caring about the Ws and Ls a while ago. Maybe during the losing streak. Just kinda feels like this teams fate is an inevitability. The real questions will come this offseason because we can't run this same setup next year. This sometimes you sometimes me thing isnt going to lead us anywhere.
Ime is part of the problem he over values defense and undervalues offense. Coach harder, clap clap, coach harder ! DD
Ime has a Sengun problem. You can't really play Sengun down the stretch because he's constantly singled out & targeted defensively. The solution is to play Jeff Green at center and go small. Clutchfans Turkey won't like this but it needs to happen
I stated a pure fact. If our offense isn't run through Sengun it's going to be the Jalen Green show. Are yall sure that is what you want to see?
The double big lineup brought us back from down 18. What are you even saying? Yes like everything else Ime does he stuck with it just a bit too long. But it was working and we literally missed 5 point blank shots at the rim on one possession.
I see you still don’t understand metrics. But to address your ignorance Green didn’t play in that long stretch they made a run with the 2 big lineup. This is what I meant dumb bi+ch
No. The conversation had nothing to do with Green. Nothing at all. It was about the offense running through Sengun in stagnant sets. Now this is pure fact. But you inserted his name due to some strange obsession or hate. One criticism does not automatically merit or warrant criticism of another player. It’s pathetic.
What's the set going to be if it's not sengun post? It's literally all we do. Jalen pick and roll. Jalen ISO, sengun post. Repeat, The offense being stagnant isn't on Sengun. He's one of the best passing bigs in league. Would be nice if we ran some off ball movement and cuts around him, I agree I don't want him just posting up. It tires him out and he can't sustain that level of play for .48 minutes. But it does work in short spurts, rockets need more movement no matter what offense we run.
You dumb shi+. They allowed 9 straight points. The defense was nonexistent along with stupid Sengun fouls and missed shots. This is why he took them out. That’s the damn point. You need to stop being so sensitive around criticism of your false idol Sengun
I just don't get that at all. I was pissed off when Amen was playing PG with Reed in the game. Reed played really good at PG last night. It makes no sense at all. It's stupid. What point is having Reed as a spot up shooter when Amen rarely even looks Reed's way when he's handling the ball.
They took him out cuz his was gassed. How can you not see that? Such a hater. This is what usually what happens they run something that works then everyone gets tired from expending that much energy to get back in game and Ime has no sub or sense to call a timeout.
You are literally just calling me names and cursing. And telling me im the one being defensive? Get out here.
