As an aside, top 5 2015 Draft: Dansby Swanson (the most Vanderbilt name in the history of Vanderbilt, since Cornelius) Alex Bregman Brendan Rodgers Dillon Tate Kyle Tucker
When the ball behaves differently half of your games, it's hard to get any kind of rhythm. I'm rooting for him. Good glove and great value if he shows enough to make the team
He wasn't really ready to get called up last year when he was. He should have spent about another 14-15 games at SL but couldn't because we had no choice. Pre-July 14G, 65IP, 69H, 35BB, 75K, 41R/41ER, 8 HR 5.68 ERA, 1.6WHIP, 10.4K/9, 14.4BR/9, 2.1K/W Post July 15G(14GS), 80IP, 70H, 30BB, 96K, 39R/32ER, 13HR 3.60ERA, 1.25WHIP, 10.8K/9, 11.25BR/9, 3.2K/W He had to get his AAA innings in at the major level. Once he got to the point where he should have been brought up he did quite well.

Ok, I missed the convo about it...what happened on Altuve's error? Bad throw or miss something in the air?
The throw was from shallow left. Throw was up the line a bit. Not horribly But the catcher could have made the play.
I was paraphrasing a tweet. Might have been more than a little bit. I know someone posted a video in the Altuve lf thread
If Caratini goes behind the runner and just gives up on the play, he would have easily knocked it down.
We saw Hunter Pence in 2007 spring training and immediately jumped on his hype train. Having the same vibe with Cam. We'll be there next week and have to say we're more excited than we've been in years with all the maybes and question marks. Hoping to see if the mythical McCullars really exists.
My goodness that was a horrible throw....................now he did make a good catch on the other play but my biggest fear(s) is his arm strength or lack thereof and his height to take away anything high on the wall or a diving catch...................I am not a fan of this, but it is what it is
Rodgers' Colorado home/away splits are alarming. He's not a major league hitter. This cannot be our answer at 2B. Leave Altuve at 2B.
I think ideally the bottom half of Houston’s everyday lineup is just placeholders: Guillorme/Rodgers keeping 2B warm for Matthews Gamel/McCormick keeping RF warm for Smith Meyers keeping CF warm for Melton
