You are the illiterate one. You posted Stone drafting Reed Sheppard you realize he drafted Sheppard before he traded for the PHX picks????

You use top 5 seed the same way people used top 3 seed a few weeks ago. We’re on the brink of play in and that can mean no playoffs. Your arguments are based on current standings when this team has been awful for the past month or so. Yet our GM refused to address our concerns. In two weeks you’ll say this team is top 7 lmao.

That trade was done to get Devin Booker. If we don’t, it was a fail. How do I know it was done to get Booker? Because loud mouth Stone told every reporter 3 mins after it happened to tweet it out. I guess our genius GM didn’t learn from the Paolo blunder.

    is this a joke? lol

Verdict still out on Reed and most fans loved the pick.

yes please to two 2nd round picks for nothing.

You need value contracts on your roster when you commit big money to plsyers. Sengun and Jalen’s near max kicks in next season and Amen will get maxed next offseason. Getting 4 yrs of Nate Williams for under $2 mil per sounds wise to me.

I’m one of the biggest Stone critics, but come on man. This was supposed to be a wait and see year.

This is as exciting as it was back when the Rockets did the same thing for Dashean Nix. Which is to say didn't care then and still don't care now. Unless he improves enough to be a plus rotation player, this is just one of those moves that won't matter in the long run.

Do you Stone haters realize how stupid you look? He has turned this team into a borderline contender in just 4 short years. The Pistons, for example, sucked for YEARS before we started our rebuild and just began competing a year after we did. I tell you what, just point me to a single team that has rebuilt faster than our Rockets in this century?

Not a Stone hater, but Houston is a year behind OKC and I doubt we are as good as OKC is now next year.

No, we're not. They got freakishly lucky in their circumstances. They were able to kick off their rebuild with the PG trade for SGA and a boat load of picks. SGA already had a full NBA season under his belt at that time. And, they didn't even begin their rebuild that year entirely, because they brought in CP3 and won 44 games that year. Meaning SGA had two full years of NBA experience before they even began the rebuild.

We didn't have the leverage that they did, because the Clippers were told by Kawhi that he would only sign there if they traded for PG. So they didn't even view that trade as if they were trading for PG, they viewed it as if they were trading for both Kawhi and PG. I wish we were that lucky, but we weren't. We were offered the Nets picks package and the Ben Simmons package. Stone did an incredible job in taking the Nets package and then utilizing some of those picks to get more picks still - really expanding the value of that trade. But it didn't give us a 2 year head start on developing a cornerstone player.

We're on the timeline of our first two draft picks - Jalen, who just turned 23 and Sengun who is still 22. The OKC are on the timeline of Shai, who is 26 years old and played his first season with the Clippers. I'd say that puts them at least 3 years ahead of us, even if J Dub and Chet are the same age as our guys.

Yeah, landing SGA was really a coup for them. Otherwise I think they would be right around the same level we're at. That's not to say Presti hasn't done a great job, he has--they have a ton of depth too.

He has done an incredible job, and I didn't even mean he got lucky with SGA as far as him evaluating his potential. Simply that they got lucky in that the Kawhi free agency situation gave them so much more leverage than we had.

Probably Best Buy restroom, sitting on the sh**ter?

(Ever go to a store on the weekend when it's suddenly Groundhog Day and the critter is seeing his shadow (ahem) but all those pairs of feet in the bathroom stalls don't budge because you just KNOW those dudes are in there hiding from their wives and kids, looking at their phones, while you're having something of a "medical emergency"?)

Um, the signing of Udoka to basically every move, trade & signing since Harden quit. He gave you a master class in how to rebuild a roster from scratch in 3-4 years. Did you have access to goGoogle?

All this unproductivity and we're still 4th in the West coming off no play-in last year. What exactly is your definition of productivity?

    Are you stupid?
You guys are all the same. Two weeks ago it was everything is fine, we’re third place. Next it’s gonna be it’s fine we’re 7th. Keep accepting mediocrity.

True, Presti is lucky much more than he's not but he also never sits on his hands in improving any version of the Thunder, especially his best teams. This OKC rebuild is also ahead of schedule but Presti keeps adding + tinkering - offseason signings/trades, trade deadline, 2 way players, waiver wire, draft, etc. Presti seemingly never stops working.
