I don't think it means a lot right now.

These people can be mad now - but that will die down and again, it is all going to come down to the economy.

Half of these people that worked for the federal government and voted for Trump but lost their jobs will vote Republican again --- Trump said he would "drain the swamp". He said he would do these things, and these people are now only made because it impacted them personally. If only their co-workers had been fired, they would not care ..... hell I know Hispanics that came to the USA illegally, but they got amnesty through Reagan or they are the kids of parents that are illegal --- and they voted for Trump because of trans gender issues, religious reasons... and they don't care that some of their family members were deported.

It is just how it goes.

His approval rating is getting lower and lower.

If its all coming down to the economy, his approval rating will only get worse from here. He's already at the second lowest in history. If its about the economy, then IT SURELY is only the beginning of how angry people are going to get.

Yeah - I don't put too much faith in polling when it comes to Donald Trump because there are people that are ashamed to admit they support him that will privately vote for him. We have seen that in two elections now where he has beaten polling by 2.5-5% ..... so while I don't think he is a popular President, he is probably in a little better shape than the latest polls show.

He is a lightening rod for sure - and while we think that the economy will do poorly, we really do not know for sure. If the economy does do poorly, yes I suspect a lot of people will turn on him and pressure will be exerted to reign him in.

I agree. Right now this only affecting a small percentage of folks. If and when all those tariffs hit and you are laying off tens of thousands of decent paying federal jobs, then the economy may turn decidedly negative. Then it will matter.

Unfortunately, this is a marathon and not a sprint. I really thought he would back off on Mexico and Canada tariffs, but he "said" last night March 4th was the date, I heard conflicting stories about April also. He is tone deaf if he keeps going down the road of tariffs, Mexico and Canada will do the same and then were in a staring contest while the consumer can't afford avocados and fruit from Mexico and 17 mid-west states are Canadas biggest customer. This is all going to jack up the costs and as we all know people care a little about all the other stuff, but when it comes to their grocery bill, they will squeal like a stuck pig. I think Canada can handle it, it will hurt both sides, but Mexico is so poor, and I am not familiar with their trade partners. The long-term affect is countries will start to look for new trade partners as they will not trust us, that not only affects basic items we use daily but if they stop buying our goods it could get really bad. As we saw from the "cabinet" meeting yesterday, no is going to stand up to him...............plus, he doesn't give 2 ****s about Joe Six Pack. And a side note of how this ball will get rolling downhill is when snap gets cut and these red states who depend on it are going to be in a world of hurt.

Senator Roger Marshall gets his ass run out of a town hall in Kansas after somebody asked him why Musk was allowed to fire millions of veterans for no good reason

Coward, maybe he can start jogging with Josh Hawley to work on his speed

HP3 is going to have a long 4 years if they are going to make a thread about every little thing. Get a life or a job or something. It’s hilarious and sad at the same time. Plus, MSNBC is one of the least trusted
news source in the entire world.

I guarantee you didn't have a problem with @AroundTheWorld posting every single thought that popped into his head while working as an alleged CEO. Oh, the hypocrisy...

Not surprised to hear the same political talking point that was posted here - one that is essentially a lie - repeated by the Representative. "Clinton did the same thing".

Lol, Clinton was popular bc the economy underwent a productivity boom and people started getting rich

The toxic DOGE losers are unpopular and are literally smashing the economy into an iceberg - on purpose!

Elon going to have to hope his new Zealand bunker is paid in full - that mf is going to go down in history like ...... Hitler
