Jabari got to play 31 mpg for 79 games, of course he had a few games where he had decent counting stats, it would be impossible not to. He improved massively from year 1 to year 2, but that doesn’t change how dreadful he was as a rookie.
Better rookie year than Reed is saying nothing. I am having a better rookie year than Reed! Jabrari is light years behind Blanchero and Chet. He has been a great disappointment for the high hopes we had with him coming out of school. Mobley got better by bulking up….Smith is still skinny and is very immobile and stiff offensively for his build.
Preach. Reed has not yet begun to fight. And Jabari will forever be misunderstood and under appreciated.
I believe banchero is the most overrated player in the league. I wouldn’t trade Jabari straight up for him. Orlando has a better record when he doesn’t play. Crappy shooter, crappy defensive player, slow footed. He is a better passer and he would be a terrible fit with Sengun.

The problem is we’ve made him one dimensional. Bring the ball up, pass it into the post and then go spot up. He needs to play like a young Steve Nash. Drive it into the lane, under the basket and then back out to the three point line if nothing is there. Stop waiting for the defense to set up before we pass into the post. To predictable. Nothing against Holiday but I’m over watching him already.
I already know it. Ime would never play him over Brooks, or Jalen etc, or Eason, or Thompson....there is no room at the Inn for Castle. He is benefitting from being on a really bad team with no competition for his spot to speak of... DD
Eason, Thompson, and Brooks wouldn’t even be guys he’s competing with for minutes so what the hell are u talking about? Reed’s main competition is the elite, top tier Aaron Holiday, and he can’t even beat that…
Reed played 6 minutes of garbage time the other day and didn’t even record a field goal attempt…he’s content being subpar and doing nothing maybe his mom didn’t give him any positive affirmations that night
What if the issue is that you can't shoot well against NBA-level talent? Defense is hardly a priority in the G-League.
