Build its own ****? So how much do you think it would cost to build everything in the US? You want to talk about inflation everything will be more expensive. On top of that a lot of that is built here would not be competitive on the global market. People are b****ing about prices now.

It is a chatbot. Something simple for me isn't simple for you and vice versa.

The answer is "quite simple" if you've been paying attention. ISIS is still around. The thousand troops before and during Biden is for ISIS.

You initially argued our partnership with the Kurds is transactional: "We helped them defeat ISIS and we considered that to be in our interest as well. Great a mutually beneficial endeavor… so that means we owe them what?"

With ISIS as a resurging threat, we owe them for not breaking the agreement we made. It's not about a permanent alliance or guarantee of statehood. It's about not leaving your allies in the lurch while you're still fighting a common enemy.

Does that make sense to you, or will you continue to duck and weave around the issue like a man pretending to know nothing of honor and commitment?

lol these are the same braindead morons who spent the past four years putting, "biden owes me gas money" "biden destroyed the economy" bumper stickers lol. They spent years blaming Biden for covid inflation but suddenly now dont mind inflation at all.

Its so sad just how utterly stupid half of America has become.

    i think theyre just rubes.

these are people who just want to burn it all down. they are happy with elon dismantling the government because they want to see the bureaucracy burned to the ground. the position on ukraine is just an extension and expansion of that mentality. they want to burn down the post WWII international order.

if you think about how many of these people were reagan republicans and GWB/iraq war/bush doctrine supporters and are now not just isolationist, but actually siding with russia and their KGB murderous dictator...to go from one extreme to the other like this is nothing short of schizophrenic.

if trump is not a russian asset then he is the dumbest MFer in the world.

Trump doing Putin a solid to push Zelensky into surrendering or justifying Russia's complete demolishing of Ukraine so Trump can say, "you should have made peace"

There is no peace in this war. Ukraine makes peace, and Russia will use it to do another surprise invasion.

This is why Fox News is a joke and the Press Secretary is just a voice twisting the facts for Trump. Never believe them.

Speaking later on Fox News, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called Zelensky “rude” and “antagonistic,” referring to the tense exchange from earlier in the day.

Funny, that's the opposite of what I saw.

I'm genuinely embarrassed to be an American because of these clowns.

I hope all you MAGATs get everything you want and then have to live a long life with the results.

Why are you offended and think it’s an insult to be called a Putin supporter?

My expectations for Trump were so stupidly low, and he's somehow failing to even meet that.

In his first term I still hated him but at least he occasionally did something that I agreed with. He has done absolutely nothing positive, and embarrasses the entire country every time he opens his mouth.

I just keep waiting to finally hit the bottom, but it never seems to arrive. If you don't think giving money to Ukraine is worth it then fine...don't. All this other Putin slurping and name calling when Ukraine is so inarguably in the right...it defies comprehension. The only "peaceful" resolution he wants is one where the clear aggressor makes no concessions.

That's not even to mention calling our closest allies elected leader "governor". Just a perpetual embarrassment.

As I predicted, the hardcore cultists like commodore, Salvy, Spaceghost, etc. are all jazzed up about this theatrical performance.

Which begs the question again of why now this early does Trump feel the need to feed his base red meat? Why is he so worried about losing his cult supporters to the point where he would blow up a campaign promise to end the war “on day 1”?

Obviously Trump is worried about his base for some reason. Poor jobs reports? Inflation rising? 4 trillion of deficit spending for tax cuts for billionaires? Destroying Medicare??

I dunno what it is but obviously Trump and Vance had their intentions set on animating their base with this stunt. When you feel the need to go to this length just to reassure your support from the likes of people like Commodore and Spaceghost who would eat glass for Trump, things must look pretty awful internally there at the White House.

Those designations are the official policy of the U.S. toward Ukraine and other nations like Taiwan and Israel. This isn't simply a label or buzzword; it's an official policy backed by concrete actions. You don't have to agree with it, but implying it's meaningless ignores the reality of what it has entailed for the U.S. for decades and even today.

I get your point and acknowledge your opinion, but I explained why I think it overlooks a few critical points. You didn’t respond to any of those. You can try again, but if it’s the same opinion without anything new, you can have the last word.

    Zelensky:

We are very grateful to the United States for all the support. I’m thankful to President Trump, Congress for their bipartisan support, and American people. Ukrainians have always appreciated this support, especially during these three years of full-scale invasion.

America’s help has been vital in helping us survive, and I want to acknowledge that. Despite the tough dialogue, we remain strategic partners. But we need to be honest and direct with each other to truly understand our shared goals.

It’s crucial for us to have President Trump’s support. He wants to end the war, but no one wants peace more than we do. We are the ones living this war in Ukraine. It’s a fight for our freedom, for our very survival.

As President Reagan once said, “Peace is not just the absence of war.” We’re talking about just and lasting peace—freedom, justice, and human rights for everyone. A ceasefire won’t work with Putin. He has broken ceasefires 25 times over the last ten years. A real peace is the only solution.

We are ready to sign the minerals agreement, and it will be the first step toward security guarantees. But it’s not enough, and we need more than just that. A ceasefire without security guarantees is dangerous for Ukraine. We’ve been fighting for 3 years, and Ukrainian people need to know that America is on our side.

I cannot change Ukraine’s position on Russia. The Russians are killing us. Russia is the enemy, and that’s the reality we face. Ukraine wants peace, but it must be a just and lasting peace. For that, we need to be strong at the negotiation table. Peace can only come when we know we have security guarantees, when our army is strong, and our partners are with us.

We want peace. That’s why I came to the United States, and visited President Trump. The deal on minerals is just a first step toward security guarantees and getting closer to peace. Our situation is tough, but we can’t just stop fighting and not having guarantees that Putin will not return tomorrow.

It will be difficult without the U.S. support. But we can’t lose our will, our freedom, or our people. We’ve seen how Russians came to our homes and killed many people. Nobody wants another wave of occupation. If we cannot be accepted to NATO, we need some clear structure of security guarantees from our allies in the U.S.

Europe is ready for contingencies and to help fund our large army. We also need the U.S. role in defining security guarantees—what kind, what volume, and when. Once these guarantees are in place, we can talk with Russia, Europe, and the U.S. about diplomacy. War alone is too long, and we don’t have enough weapons to push them out entirely.

When someone talks about losses, every single life matters. Russia invaded our homes, killed our people, and tried to erase us. This isn’t just about territories or numbers—it’s about real lives. That’s what we need everyone to understand.

I want the U.S. to stand more firmly on our side. This is not just a war between our two countries; Russia brought this war onto our territory and into our homes. They are wrong because they disrespected our territorial integrity.

All Ukrainians want to hear a strong U.S. position on our side. It’s understandable the U.S. might look for dialogue with Putin. But the U.S. has always spoken about ‘peace through strength.’ And together we can take strong steps against Putin.

Our relationship with the American President is more than just two leaders; it’s a historic and solid bond between our peoples. That’s why I always begin with words of gratitude from our nation to the American nation.

American people helped save our people. Humans and human rights come first. We’re truly thankful. We want only strong relations with America, and I really hope we will have them.

Zelensky can't come out and say it, but the bitter truth is that there can be no lasting peace there unless one of two things happens:

    1) Putin is deposed and is not replaced by someone worse

    2) the US promises to secure Ukraine until #1 happens

I am sympathetic to the fact this is not our fight. I am an isolationist too, but I also have no love lost for Russia and don't want to carry a single solitary drop of water for them.

On the other hand, if we're going to carry around the world's biggest swinging military dick, we might as well use it as a force for good, of which protecting a nascent westernizing nation like Ukraine from invasion by a brutal legacy autocrat obviously would be.

Again, telling Ukraine we're not going to be involved anymore is perfectly fine. Inviting their President to the White House to humiliate and ambush him while spinning Russian propaganda is just... beyond words.
