Why do you think they felt such urgency to stage this now at this point where either it’s for their audience to get a hell yeah moment or they felt the pressure from Putin to turn the screws this tight this early? I don't really care what happens to Ukraine, but even coming from that perspective, this was a historically embarrassing moment for our country.

I know how you feel. I have a trip planned abroad in April, and will more than likely be around a few Europeans and Canadians. For the first time in my life I'm embarrassed to tell them I'm American. I want to avoid politics on my trip, but it might be unavoidable to an extent if anyone sparks up a conversation about all the BS happening now with Trump.
