Is our guy retiring? He became a Houston Cougar in 2006 and had an improbable collegiate and pro football career that lasted nearly two decades. Coaching next?

    Keenum is legend.

My favorite moments include the Viking miracle, the 27 point second half comeback against LA tech, and the 9TD game. But the records. Oh those records too. He earned 51 million doing what he loved.

I can see him retiring if the Texans don't want him back. Texans would be dumb to let him walk though. He's a bargain as a 3rd string QB who is effectively a QB coach as well.

I expect him to coach within a couple of years after retiring. The questions are when will he retire and will he take time off.

The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die.

I can't imagine him not getting into coaching at some point.

Don't know why, but for a very long time, I've always thought Keenum would go into coaching after playing.
