The reason eggs are expensive today is due to nearly 160 million egg laying chickens being culled over bird flu fears in the past 3 years. The reason everything else has gotten so expensive is several years of out of control inflation. Who you blame for it largely depends on which echo chamber you exist in. /thread
The chickens unionized. Most have slowed production. Pockets of chickens around the country have stopped producing. They're demanding more pastures and less cages. Government sent in saboteur chickens to cause chaos within the newly formed unions.
Seems to be a correlation between the cost of eggs and the number of Waffle House fight videos being produced.
