He reads like a guy who always had incredible raw talent and that was enough, and now he's being asked to actually work because he's at a level where it's not, in fact, enough. If he had Amen's mindset he would be a monster. It's why I was pushing for picking Amen ahead of him from the beginning. Having a fantastic work ethic and a hunger to succeed is more important than already having a jump shot.
Agree...I scream when he's 5 of 8 and only gets 8 shots. Tonight he needed to shoot less...made 4 of 15 shots...most disappointing were the point blank missed shots/blocks. No lift in his legs at all...other shots were short (legs). Don't get the need for 32 mins. with the score what it is has been on 3rd game back.
