Shaq and Kobe have been the only high-usage players that were more or less the same with and without each other. They were both MVP level players. Maybe I'm missing some duo? Durant and Booker are probably playing around their best, but they are not ball dominant, and still no other Sun is relevant. Now, LeBron and Doncic are trying to do what so many duos have failed to do. It's tough to envision both reaching their peak level with each other. Their "super-computers" are spitting out [DOES NOT COMPUTE] messages. It's early, but I don't see a similar precedent to point to.
They were up bnig in the 1st half right? What happened? Is this a case of being tired in the 4th? Rocket River
Reaves got ejected, they couldn’t make shots, and the Hornets got hot in the 4th often attacking Luka…Luka’s defense is bad enough at baseline, but when he has 5 fouls like he did last night, u can barely expect him to even try
[Windhorst] The Lakers are under immense pressure to sign Luka Dončić to an extension. Dončić currently has “no incentive” to re-sign with LA: “He never said, ‘I wanna be a Laker.’ There are dozens of players over the years who have made it crystal clear they wanna be Lakers. Luka never said that.”
anyone know our salary cap position for the 26/27 season? It’s hard to forecast given the likely extensions for Bari/Tari/Amen. Would be the best way for Luka to say screw you to the Mavs for him to sign with a division rival in the same state.
Lol… Luka just beat the Nuggets. Scary Luka came to play. How did they beat Denver without a big man?
Funny how many now try to act like he’s not going to be a Laker in the national media and many even thinking there might have been something to the weight issues, because he wasn’t playing all that great. Look at all that now after one great game. Luka is fine and will remain a Laker.
Dallas being down only 3 without AD and big men is crazy against Lebron and Luka. Kyrie is one hell of a player.
