Kind of disappointed in Amen. Is Ime trying to turn him into Kurt Rambis? Maybe he just wanted some time off. Damn. Ugly win, but it's still a win.
The Rockets haven't had an easy win in forever. But at least they gutted out another close one against a good team. Hopefully Amen doesn't get suspended for tomorrow's game.
I needed this. Been a while since I felt like it was a Rockets kind of game even the ones we were winning recently. This game had our identity stamped on it.
I know Sengun doesn’t trust himself at the line but you can’t run from free throws. That almost cost us.
A lot of these young guys still need to work on their basketball IQ. How many times have we seen them this season try to score when all that's needed is to hold the ball and let the other team foul you. I mean, I don't want to be a Monday morning QB but it's common sense sometimes that's lacking.
Unfortunately, I was locked outside my house most of the game and only got to watch the 4th quarter, which was pretty pathetic. At times, it looked like neither team wanted to win. Very hard to believe Dame missed that FT. #5 FT shooter in NBA history. Spurs losing a tough one in New Orleans tonight. Rockets have no excuse tomorrow.
It's the B2Bs. I ain't gonna lie. I came into this homestand more concerned about the Spurs game than the Bucks one.
That no look pass to the cameraman in the clutch moments wasn't a turnover? Damn the NBA really has changed.
They also have very little quality depth when VanVleet is out, and Tari Eason sits out the second half of back to backs. That was the case in Utah.
I’d like to also talk about how KPJ single-handedly shifted the momentum back to our side in the beginning of the 4th. Bad body language, lost on defense, turnovers…I don’t wish any negativity on him but I’m sure glad he’s no longer on the team and we have a bunch of really likable guys who play their hardest, win or lose.
