The majority of Muslim Americans voted for Stein, with Trump and Harris nearly equal as distant runners-up. Here is one link, but a couple of others report similarly. From your posting history, I'm guessing you think a vote for Stein is a vote for Trump.

The ad comes just days after Stein was endorsed by the “Abandon Harris” movement, dealing a blow to Vice President Kamala Harris and threatening to siphon away votes in key swing states she’ll need in order to secure the White House. That endorsement came on the one-year anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack, which ignited the creation of groups that protested the reelection of President Joe Biden or Harris in response to their stances on Israel. The initial “Abandon Biden” movement helped the effort to cast hundreds of thousands of “uncommitted” ballots in the Democratic primary elections, raking in more votes than any challenger to the president. The group has shown no signs of slowing down, especially since rebranding to the Abandon Harris movement after Biden withdrew from the race — and it could pose a serious challenge to the vice president’s campaign, especially in Michigan.
I would say their impact on the 2024 election was actually statistically insignificant. I would also point out, though, that Harris made a strategic decision in her campaign to sacrifice pro-Palestine votes in an attempt to get more of what she saw as winnable swing voters in the middle. To the extent that large numbers of Muslim (and also progressive) voters went third party because Harris wouldn't denounce Israel's attack on Gaza, it isn't because they abandoned Harris, it's because Harris abandoned them. And Democrats want to come back and blame these 'defectors' when it's obvious that Harris thought they were less important than some other demographic of voter. Harris is the one responsible for putting together a coalition to win a majority of votes. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Through that lens, the operative metric is 21%, the estimate of Muslim-Americans who actually voted for Trump, despite or because of his obvious Islamophobia. That's higher than it should be, frankly, but a far cry from a majority of Muslims like astros is saying.
Honestly this is a perfect move. Maine has a large "small government" conservative base. With this line of attack you essentially get both liberals and conservatives in Maine to side with her.

Let's have all the states do this. Who would have thought the Democratic governor of Maine would put forward such a great libertarian idea because of trans access to women's sports?
