Cutting the government isn't just a process it's a show. They have to show action. This is what Republican voters have been wanting for a while, definitely since Reagan. Regardless of anyone feels about there could be an orderly process to this. What's even more frustrating is the moronic cheering on in this forum
What they don't understand is that it isn't much of a personality, and what little personality there is happens to be extremely lame.
The number of people on here who don't know much at all about how their government operates astounds me. I get that some people are playing the intentionally ignorant card, but some posters--and by extension, some Americans--are just woefully incurious about their government. All that said, everything Mump is doing is a sign of weakness. They can't do what they want to do through legit democratic processes, they can't pass much in Congress. Yet they still hate a lot of laws passed by earlier Congresses, so instead of being honest about it and trying to repeal those laws in a normal way, they aim to make them ineffectual by crippling the federal employees doing the work. It's an approach that is bound to fail, but it will also cost a huge amount to repair the damage they are doing.
