Have you had buffering or other problems when watching Rockets games? I’m thinking about setting up Fubo for my 83 year old dad. Currently, Fubo seems to be offering 5 day free trial, $64.99 first month, and $84.99 per month after that. Do they heap on taxes and fees beyond the advertised monthly cost, and is it month to month?
Fubo is pretty good. Occasionally it'll **** up a little bit, but not for very long. My sister and I split the cost down the middle, so bit more affordable for us. Some lame stuff as in I don't think they have TNT or TBS, so you're screwed for stuff that comes on those in terms of sports. But overall, we like it pretty well. I can't speak to the taxes and fees beyond monthly advertised cost. I do believe it is month to month. My sister pays for it and I just send her half every month.
I will say an update on this from me. Their customer support sucks lol. Mainly they don't answer at all on WhatsApp. I did a trial and it was good. Then I tried to ask some questions and they were like ok time to ghost you. Maybe I'll give them another shot soon.
FuboTV used to be great, but things went downhill when they started cutting channels. First, they dropped all Turner channels, including TNT, TBS, and truTV. Then they removed Warner Bros. Discovery channels, so no more HGTV, Discovery Channel, Food Network, or TLC. After that, they dropped A&E Networks, which meant saying goodbye to A&E, History, Lifetime, Lifetime Movie Network, Vice TV, and FYI. At first, I wasn’t too bothered since we were locked into the $65/month plan. But losing History and LMN really hit hard, I’m a big Forged in Fire fan, and I’ve shamelessly spent entire days watching Lifetime movies. Plus, my wife wasn’t thrilled about losing Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives on Food Network and the entire 90 Day Fiancé series on TLC. At that point, I was like, "What am I even paying for?" I already watch most soccer on Peacock or Paramount Plus anyway, so when they announced the price hike to over $100, I canceled
Oh yeah, I believe they are probably pretty solid. Just non-existent if you ever need support, so I hope you never need support, lol. . I'll still probably give em a try after my current IPTV subscription ends.
