Well, he’s a poor ball handler that can’t create for himself or others. Not surprised his teammates don’t work very hard to get him the ball.

You know there’s actually some truth in that statement. Most nights he’s like a skinny LeMarcus Aldridge without the shooting accuracy, but occasionally he gets a 20 pointer (usually followed by a 10 pointer).

I think he is better defensively than L.A. especially on the wing. People don't seem to understand that we need him to just play defense and spot up for threes. I don't know what the fans expect from him especially his second game back from 2 month absence

When Jabari went down our defense tanked from top 5 to top 15 and our defensive rebounding fell from 11 to 28.

He’s nothing special at all defensively. Again, forget about the egg he laid last night….11,1,6 in 31 minutes a game are his averages this season. Bottom of barrell starting PF in the NBA. He sucks!

Bari just came back and was playing a back to back - all his shots was short and Utah had multi 7footers and Ime had him trying to guard George instead of JG or Amen…

some of yall so quick to cry without taking in contributing factors

Some people just have some deep rooted irrational hate toward certain players. Why they are like that is beyond me.

You know a guy named JJJ? Crazy how he gets 95% of his 3s assisted but his teammates still manage to get him the ball instead of blaming him. Its almost like as a big man ball handling isnt a priority for him.

Our team got a lot worse after he left due to injury.

He had a horrible game against Utah, maybe he doesn't have his legs back yet for the B2B.

My first post about Jabari Smith Jr was a comparable of him being a poor man LaMarcus Aldridge and everyone was hating on me for this statement...Jabari will make a nice asset for a trade package this summer.

LMA was a 19-23 ppg machine, Jabari has to leave his homeless status.

Jabari looks like 36 year old LaMarcus.

...while I agree that the team was worse while he was out, it's worth noting Fred, Tari, and Adams all missed some time while Jabari was out so while there is some truth to Jabari's positive impact on the team but it also had something to do with rotations in chaos for the last 20 games or so. Unfortunately our young guys are still not particularly well rounded so those who did play weren't able to "step up" - limited by their lack of development in areas where their teammates are normally able to supplement...until they are hurt and lineups and assignments have to change. I mean there were people touting the improved defensive abilities of both Jalen and Alpi in early January and while that is true that they have both improved - their limited ability to "step up" defensively while those other guys were out was on display in a big way.

It's been a rough slide, but for me at least, it provides important context heading into the offseason - this showed me that we still have a long way to go with this roster despite the fact Ime has found ways to "make it work" with a full roster and win games. It also continues to highlight we don't really have that franchise guy on this roster despite having several "very good" players - Amen is really the only guy I would call untouchable and that's just because he is a high level swiss army knife who can work alongside virtually any teammate but guys like Green, Alpi, Tari, Jabari, Cam, Reed, etc - we don't necessarily want them to go, but they can all be available at the right price and Stone needs to head into this offseason looking for ways to upgrade our roster.

21 years old with the athleticism of current Boris Diaw. I dont even want to know what he’s going to look like 10 years from now.

This dude can’t do anything but catch and shoot. He’s not a good enough shooter to be so one dimensional. His defense is overrated too, he doesn’t box out and doesn’t grab rebounds. He’s soft af. The Rockets need to throw him in the Booker or KD package, him, Fred, and maybe Tari, +picks should be enough to get Booker.

We could've won that if Bari actually showed up.
