Lemelo isn't a good shooter, nor is he efficient. His numbers come from the fact that he always has the ball in his hands. He takes more shots per game than any other player in the league and has the 2nd highest usage rate in the league. His 33.9% three point shooting and his 54.7% ts% are worse than Jalen Green's numbers in those same two categories. As for end of game, he's not good. In the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter with the game within 5 points, he shoots 27.8% on 3 pointers and has a ts% of 52.6%. Pretty bad.
I would go for Lamelo and Zion. Lamelo deal centered around JG and Sun's picks. Zion's value is so incredibly low, but has been increasing lately. Brooks + Cam OR Reed +Tate + two Rockets firsts for Zion should be enough.
Brilliant. Trade a 22 year old guy that never misses a game, plays through injuries, shoots a better 3 pt %, plays better defense, and makes about 10m less a year over the next three years for a 23 year old guy, shooting 33% from 3, played one season over 70 games, plays absolutely no defense at a position you already have a future superstar in the making.
This year He's been worse shooter. He's been a consistently good shooter his previous years. No matter what I'll take him over Jalen Greens best
Never misses a game but can't be counted on consistently every game. I give him credit he's improved defensively and tries with more unselfishness
You're right Jalen isn't enough, we will probably need to throw in a FRP as well, as Melo is so much better than Green...at everything. Give me greatness when they play over an Iron man of mediocrity. DD
