i like portland. the one thing i hate about portland is they use dark asphalt for their street/road construction. west coast itself is already get dark very quick. combine this with their dark asphalt instead of concrete or cement, every thing is hella dark at night time. also, portland just recently opened their state-of-the-art new airport and terminals. from the videos i've seen, it's extremely nice.
No narrative here, what do you suppose it is? I've had NBA LP on since 8pm. Watching it all and just not worshiping 18pts on 16 attempts for a C. Hope he has a good 2nd half. No need to project your "Sengun Hater" issues onto me, not gonna find that here.
Anybody who doesn't believes that Sengun and Jalen Green are here for a long time is crazy. They are the foundation of this team. Green is particular has improved so much for the past 4 years.
1st half summary: Rockets played down to the level of a pathetic team who had one player erupt. 2nd half solution: Stop Keyonte George, make sure Markkanen doesn't go off, force more TOs and clear the defensive glass. Jabari needs to show up too. I had a feeling he would lay an egg tonight but didn't mean it literally. Would also be nice if one of the perimeter bench players makes an impact on offense.
@sirjesse I just looked up a picture of funeral potatoes, and that thing looks gross AF and like it will have u in the bathroom all day clogging the toilet 10 tbs of butter in that thing to go with the cheese and canned cream soup and the recipe only uses 1 tsp salt and a 1/4 tsp black pepper for seasoning
Their numbers look okay but on the court they just don't seem very coherent or fluid so far this game. Hopefully the 2nd half opens up!
most nights he's usually the tallest dude on the court. against utah, they have a quite a few dudes 6'10 and above. not easy against this utah group
Amen somehow has 0 assists, but has delivered a bunch of dimes, like the kickout to Reed. His playmaking and decision making on the ball has been exceptional despite the 0 assists.
Weird NBA LP flex, but sure, good for you to watch so much non-Rockets NBA. I just watch the Rockets and I don't care what non-Rockets teams do, and I'm happy for all our players and wish all of them success and do my best to try to minimize the hate against them. The groupthink going on here trying to destroy our own players every time they don't play perfect is getting ridiculous when 18 points, 6 rebs, 5 asts on 50% shooting in a half is just not good enough. If the only way you will be happy with a center is if he shoots 13 of 16 every night like you are saying, then you are ridiculous and you should keep on watching LP looking for players that can do that every night other than the Rockets. I point you to r/nba, and stop polluting the GARM.
Just me I guess but I've also wondered the same thing. I want Alpi to be the best he can be...he has had lapses on point blank shots. He's a fantastic offensive player and he's coming around the last few shots. Last night he had 24 points on 21 shots and was 8 of 10 at the FT line. I think he also had like 7 TO if I'm remembering correctly. He is 8/16 shooting...not bad. We need his points for sure.
Yeah that sounds like a dangerous combination, and that’s coming from someone who grew up in the fried food belt of Appalachia eating bacon grease salads
