When healthy, on offense they are better than last year but for some reason this years ISU team is not as good on defense. In regards to today's game. The spotlight is on us. ESPN game day is here. ISU will be playing without arguably their two best players Jones and Gilbert. Really don't like these type of games. Look no further than the TT game where they lost their best player and their head coach minutes into the game. To their credit they dug down deep and took it to us with the help of some questionable referee calls and pulled off the upset. We should expect them to come out and give it everything they have. They still have some Jefferson, Milan, and Lipsey. I am also concerned about their other players. When we get beat it is often because somebody that we are not expecting goes off on us. Like Pettiford did in the Auburn game. In any event I am really looking forward to the game. It is a shame we are not playing them at full strength. I have confidence that CKS will have the team ready for whatever ISU throws at us. As long as we play our game and keep the silly fouls at a minimum and stay out of foul trouble we should be fine. But until the final buzzer sounds these type of games always make me a bit nervous.
Glad to see most of the fans at ESPN Gameday were wearing our red and white colors. Like that we are wearing our Phi Slama Jamma White uniforms today. Awesome on both sides of the ball but their 3pt shot making is keeping them in it. milos uzan is the chosen one
