Not much is being said about the firing of the Judge Advocate Generals, all of whom were removed. If you want to change military law, how it is interpreted, how it is implemented, or how it is prosecuted, this is one way to do it. For example, the UCMJ currently requires military personnel to follow lawful orders and uphold the Constitution, but it could be reinterpreted by JAGs loyal to the POTUS to prioritize obedience to the president, expanding presidential control over the military.

Practically, this could enable the president to get the military to carry out unlawful actions.
