I read somewhere about her saying that she realized that she did better singing songs written by others rather than writing songs, so that is why she sang and let others write.

Just about all of my relatives liked Polka and similar music.

I did have one Uncle (by marriage) that liked Big Band music from decades ago.

Linda did a concert decades ago with Big Band and some similar Old School songs and she sounded great in those Genres as well.

Listening to it made me think of that Uncle that that liked Big Band.
