Unless the Rockets get back playing great defense, crashing the offensive glass and getting back on defense to stop the break, etc, they are a .500 team at best. They have no identity on either end of the floor.

There is no urgency; no pep in their step. Ant might lay 50 tonight.

Ben Sullivan had no answer for Vanessa about defending Ant. Very telling.

 

We have to develop Tate and Holiday. They are crucial to our future. @Bobbythegreat

Also Ant's combination of mentality + talent is just so deadly

Was worried when he got fired up early on about Dillon it wasn't going to turn out well for us

 

Jalen hot, wide open for 3 , Tate ignores him on FB and then when he sees he can’t score tries to pass it late for turnover

But Ime loves his fake defense and plays him in front of Williams and Cam

 

Its Jalen bad habit.

 

They are playing too stupid…there is no shot blocker..they drive to the basket then pass out to the 3 point line….we are not a good shooting team..make the layups

 

Wonder why Ime sounds like a broken record? Because we keep doing the same stupid **** to lose games!

 

I'll never understand how we score 50pts one quarter and less than 20pts the next quarter.

When Alpi sat with two fouls in the first things were flowing. He came back in and clogged things up. He’s not decisive enough when he has the ball. He is bad for spacing. It is a real problem.

 

I wish JG had some court vision. He can obviously do things on the court but will never ever be the Rockets' primary ball handler. He had Bari wide open a few times but didn't see him.

 

Maybe Green should switch to Nike. Them shoes slippery or Naz's sweat.

 

Underrated momentum killer was the Holiday minutes when we had a lead early in the 2nd. He is NOT a smart player on offense and I wish we didn’t have to rely on him

 

We need a PG.

Fred's 38% FG sucks

 

Hard to support we would play better without him.

 

Ant has ultimate green light, he had like 4 bad shots possessions in a row and then got a dunk and hit a 3 and all is forgotten … JG would be benched by Ime or this thread would be melting down with trade him post

 

Jalen and Sengun 8 turnovers. We should be winning by way more than we are. Tate and Holiday were a ****ing disaster.

 

I'm excited for IME to stop having his period and talking about effort and being soft. Maybe spare a line for Jalen Green not getting calls. His whistle is rookie-esque. It's awful. He's playing w/ some taped up fingers and MIN is reaching on every single drive and making contact that isn't called.

No excuse for poor turnovers but there sure is a for a few of those that were off uncalled fouls. Bad. Too bad IME will only have the ability to recall how soft the D was giving up 70 in the first half.
