There were sweeping layoffs that affected many thousands of workers. I don't think the firings would have happened that quickly if they actually were looking for evidence of corruption on an individual basis. For the most part, people were fired for reasons that had nothing to do with them individually.
They were let go for several reasons, not being good at their jobs, waste, fraud, abuse, going through his wife's underwear drawer, trying to put him in jail, waste, fraud, abuse, DEI etc....
