Where that you can't pay for trash service? You can also take your own trash out. That's not a necessity unless you're lazy

Why? I agree with others. They don't deserve a new stadium. They've done nothing

That would be funny(not really) if they tear down NRG and let the Dome just sit there and rust.

But, it does seem unreasonable to expect the taxpayers to build new stadiums every 20-25 years. I understood why the Dome was bad for football. But, NRG is a perfectly good stadium in my view. And, if the Texans get a new stadium, you know the Rockets and Astros will want something shiny and new.

No thank you, the city shouldn't pay for a stadium. The Texans can go if they want to or foot the bill themselves. Someone else will come to this huge football market if they leave.

I'm with him. Pay for your own damn stadium. We don't get the profits. You do.

Old Man McNair paid $700 million for the franchise and its now worth $6.3 Billion his Nepo Baby can afford to pay for his own stadium,

I was watching the Ultimate Cleavland Show (Schadenfreude) podcast and the Browns want a new stadium as well. A new big doomed one. The way the hosts were talking about it is that Haslam would pay $1B and have control of the stadium AND surrounding development area. The city would put up the rest for the stadium, land, development and construction overages. Sounded like a modern day land grab tbh.

edit. The Addelsons are trying to do the same with the Mavs. They just want the Texas legislature to legalize gambling. Legislature didn’t do it this past session so the they’re pumping millions of dollars into that misleading Destination Texas ad campaign youre seeing all over.

The AAC is poorly designed just because the concourse is so narrow in the upper level.

Agreed, I love the McNair's, and I love the Texans BUT, I am not subsidizing a millionaire/billionaire owner, you pay for it, and you can reap the profits, it might push you to realize you need to put a quality product on the field if you want us to pay for the pleasure to watch and root for you. And good LORD, tear the friggin Astrodome down, it's gonna be very expensive to do it but at some point it has to go.................Rocketjudo had made a point a few months ago that there were serious costs to implode it, but dam, lets do something

What’s wrong with NRG? Seems perfectly fine every time I’ve been there.

And a story on NRG Park.

“The Houston Rodeo needs a new arena at NRG Park. Who is going to pay for it?”

The Populous design is easily the best. The other two suck. The first one doesn't even look at all like NRG stadium as it stands today. The last one looks way too similar.

Populous is a nice blend of giving it a facelift while still looking like NRG stadium used to be there.

I like this one. The surround screen is probably my favorite thing.

Honestly, I only hate the current ramp at NRG. I think everything else if fine. This upgrade would make the experience better though.
